Is that a ground wire for the 12V? Where is is located?

I didn't see a mat for the tailgate but I don't think this material would work very well on the tailgate anyway. CarID had the bed mat for $138.00

To tell the truth, I think it is matte black. I looked at my order but I can't find the type of finish listed. I can say what I have isn't shiny. I ordered mine from CarID and they have good chat support. If you contact them, ask about any discounts.

The link below was a YouTube video I found. I think there was a redesign of the Lomax so I'm hoping some/all of these issues are fixed. You make good points though.

The panels seem pretty solid. I wouldn't hit them with a hammer but I expect them to hold up well. I got mine through CarId for $945. I wanted a roll up model but they were not available through CarID . The tri-fold will work fine though.

Sorry for the confusion, I was planning on using the blank panel I have on my driver side cubby to just mount the switch and routing the 12v power for the light strips switch. My XLT doesn't have the 120 V outlet, just a blank panel.

I don't have the power outlet option like this picture so I'm going to try to mount my switch on the blank panel if I can get the wires to that location without too much cutting. I like your location though.

Can you share where you installed the switch? Pictures?

Do you know what the operating temperature is for these bulbs? Will they get too hot for the lens housing/socket?

I picked up my XLT Hybrid 1/3/22 and the dealer had the FITS package with the truck. I was expecting a package mailed to my home but this was a nice suprise. I'll probably use the cupholder the most. The rest goes under the back seat.
