I replaced one on my 24 Tremor 5 k miles with one of the same type. No troubles All wheel drive is still only driving one wheel at a time. I figure the truck would tell you after the fact if there was enough difference in the size to matter. It certainly does when the spare is on. Mine had a...
I didn’t particularly like them when I went to install them, placed them like you did. But on carbonized grey they don’t look as bad and I am used to them now.
I believed in this on older carburetor equipped vehicles. Non computer cars had no automatic adjustments on the air to fuel ratio and often performance stuff idled rich. It helped to clean the plugs and carbon deposits.
I found out today there is a limit to the resets. I don’t get a chance to use it much and it was 50 miles away. When it started returning I refreshed it 5 or 6 times in a short time period and got a message that I reached a refresh limit and try again later.

Yea, it freaked me out when I noticed it. And as an old guy, all the newer engines sound so different from what I was used to. Just don’t seem right to my ears.
I live in a 650 home 55 community. There are at least 5 in here. Seem very popular in Florida with all the old people
24 Lariat Tremor. Always had trucks, traded in a 22 Gladiator. Maverick is more practical as an only vehicle for 2.
