You are not over the 2,000lbs max. With a tow weight of 1,755lbs you would have a max Truck payload of 514lbs (including passengers) before you max out the GVWR and a Trailer payload of 176lbs before you max out the GCVWR.

If you can find one with the FX4 package I'd highly recommend it. FX4 is meant for off-road. the AWD version is meant for paved roads unless you the upgrade tyres. As HE says it's a no-brainer just for the tyres alone.

Check the tyre pressure. Ford is known to ship its trucks with over-inflated tyres.

You will love the Truck until you get deluged with Recalls. And then you will still love the Truck. You may experience a rattling noise coming from the dash. Ignore it as nobody, and I mean nobody, has a clue what causes it.

My wife says I have turbo issues in the trouser department - but the Mav is fine.

That is a lot of mods.

Brush carwashes would even scratch a Cyber Truck.
