There are two schools of thought on this Forum. I'm in the never exceed GCVWR Camp. Exceeding the GCVWR opens you up to a whole lot of liability should you get in an accident, roll the truck over or go off the road. Without a brake controller you won't be able to stop in an emergency situation.
I don't mind the new front, but prefer the old one. The new Lobo grill reminds me of a Lincoln grill too much. Looks totally daft.
The new Tremor grill is nowhere near as good as the old one.
However, I do like many of the new features, such as the 360 degree camera and larger display.
I have the same hood protector, the same truck (Tremor) and the same colour. I don't know about you, but it's an absolute babe magnet in the 60+ female segment.
Who knows. Chips are a fact of life. It's pot luck whether a rock will chip a windshield or not. Too many variables to establish cause and effect. Unless you can prove the windshield was defective, you'll just have to bite-the-bullet.
Good luck trying to prove that the 2" lift didn't cause the problem. The dealer installed the lift because you asked for it. A good dealer would have told you that a lift stresses the CV axles and they will likely fail. Modding your Mav is the escape valve Ford needs to deny a warranty claim.
That's a donkey driver who has no respect for human life. I would have called the police immediately. Too many idiots on the road these days (including me).
Larger tires is the safest option (shouldn't invalidate your warranty) since they won't affect the CV angle. But they will probably reduce your suspension travel since they are higher up your wheel well.
But I'm an accountant so what do I know?
My Ford dealer up here in Canada installed a brake controller and 7/4 pin connector for CDN $750 (USD $550). Although my Tremor is limited to 2,000 lbs, my thinking was three pairs of brakes are better than two. Besides, more and more lightweight trailers now come with electric brakes (ie Rove).
Actually SAE J2807 says what the tests are - and they are not ideal:

The liability implications of towing in less than ideal conditions governs towing capacity.
