I know I may change my oil "too much", but first change was @5K miles with NAPA synthetic (meets Ford Spec) with a NAPA Proformer filter at the six month mark....next change was at dealership @9K again with Ford hybrid spec full synthetic oil and a Motorcraft filter....at the 1 year mark...
@doug maverick While it is sometimes advantageous to get a wider foot print, I am a strong proponent of keeping the diameter the same as OE....when you put a taller tire on, you are now screwing with the speedometer and the computer may need to be re-calibrated to compensate for it. My opinion...
The front struts on my 2023 Explorer Timberline had a low speed rattle right out of the gate and it took the dealer a month to diagnose and get replacements.
There is no advantage - some here just want to fit the biggest tire they can onto a vehicle. Stick with the stock size, you'll be happier overall with the performance.
