so im uploading this pic i just took

I was wimdering if someone could post a picture of the faulty harness wires joints or whatever causing this?

or a picture of bad version vs good version…
mine is a march built.. and there is no recall on my vin regarding the harness
My hybrid only has 800 miles.. it was a march built. the only issue i seam to have is a coolant lost . Other than that it is running fine.
this dead engine issue makes me worry because i plan to road trip where getting towed could be a pain. Especially if its sunday night and everything is...
im not getting any of the abrupt stop people are having.. sometime the transition isn't perfect but nothing that bug me at all. Im in normal mode… hybrid Ofcourse.. if you don't want any brake issue.. i say switch to normal mode.
Yea, most dealers refuse to let their costumers leave with a damaged or unprepared vehicle. It wouldn't be ethical or legal in the first place. My dealer received my hybrid ..i believe it was a monday.. they told me that they need to prep and clean it first to le me go home with it…i told the...
i don't want to defend the original poster either but you have to remember that Ford must fix his car regardless.
the client should always get a good experience. And each costumer are different, and Ford has to adapt to each one them to make them return and buy another Ford vehicle.
Every...
even after they repaired (replaced) the block heater, my coolant reservoir is still dropping about 1/3 of an inch every hundred miles..
i used my points to buy some of their concentrate coolant and added some to the reservoir.
The problem is i don't have the time to bring my hybrid maverick...
My hybrid came with the hard drop in… and just like i though, the two extra outlets (one on each side) near the tailgate are hidden behind the side drop in panels . You can't access those dc plugs because of the side panels. Unless you cut some holes there.. how come ford didn't provide an...
The front reservoir one, atleast if you have issue with the block heater. Mine was completely empty.
here some photos taken today.
the top mark is when they fixed the block heater.. the guy filled almost an inch above the max line.
the second mark (from the top was few days ago)
the last...
ford are closed on saturday.. but i went to a generalist mechanic shop that i know…. The tech guy just told me the same. Not to add any coolant for now,, it’s probably nothing..and to keep an eye on the level,.. that was in the morning. I drove a bit, about 15 miles….let it cool down 6 or 7...
I had that problem when my hybrid only had 5 miles.. yea a brand new hybrid maverick with a coolant leak from apparently the heater block. Even Fordpass detected the coolant issue.
but i was more lucky than you. It only took them 24 hours to get the part. But it was a 7 hours job.. so i had to...
things for the 2023
Better quality control.. my hybrid xlt built in April was delivered with a coolant leak. it took the local dealer and one of their best tech 7 hours to fix it. that's an easy $1000 job outside warranty.
The tech guy explained that the seal around the faulty part was...
Can't find the answer to this one,,
some cars come with solid wind deflector with this sunroof, other cars like the maverick come with a mesh net.. im just curious why they go with mesh/net type of delfector?
they are such a pain to clean.
is there a way to upgrade to solid deflector?
update… i will update this until resolved to help other getting this issue.
i brought the hybrid back to the dealer..
they decided to keep it to replace a part related to the coolant reservoir (overflow)
there was a leak somewhere in that area.
they said the coolant was still circulating...
Hybrid xlt with copilot with drop in bed liner which i bought early this week. With only 200 miles..
Yesterday it was raining and i was cruising on the highway at relatively low speed for 1h..
Reached my destination and stayed there for 2h
On the way back ( thats about 5 min on the highway)...
I heard that before.. you're not the first.. poor housing general. design. I think ford is aware of the problem.. probably an hidden fix in the 2023-24
Im not a tech, but everytime i see an evap issue, i think of gas , evap pump and charcoal canister.
when i fill the tank i always stop on first clic.. i don't continue.. some people are just too greedy, and they fill their tank until they can see the fuel.
always stop filling on first clic
Unless they put the wrong handle.. usually a missing lock means a car has been targeted for theft…. Thieves use a tool to grab the lock cylinder to dupe the key and they come back later with a duped key.. ..
with the cylinder they can also obtain the factory code to program the duped key...
You know,, it's not a big deal.. but if they can make mistakes like this, they can also mismatch something else we can't see.. like a wire, a screw, a bolt size, things that could go unnoticed until it fails.
only explanations i see..
they keep hiring new employees, too much extra overtime ...
