Got my order in today with X Plan and I got the Ford order confirmation very quickly. Only a $100 deposit from the dealer too.

Reserved one yesterday and hoping to put in my order with the dealer tomorrow. Going Lariat but unlike many here I'm doing the hybrid because it'll be my DD and I see a long-term increase in gas prices.

That makes more sense than the credit app...I'm not going to be pressured into having my credit run when I have no idea when the truck will be built and, thus, what Ford Credit will be offering. So, I'm waiting to hear back from the dealer as to my questions on that front.

Just out of curiosity re those who have already ordered (and are planning to finance it), did your dealer require you to complete a credit app to do the order?

I should hopefully have an answer soon - the dealer I'm speaking with said they will do X Plan Pricing, but I won't say that's correct until the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

I've thrown in the "I know other dealers are submitting orders based upon a Maverick forum" in my emails to three dealers in my area so we'll see if they play ball or if I need to look elsewhere.

Yep - had to know this was coming given almost every other make/model being pushed back or slowed down.

Correct re the Lariat Lux package - that's what I'm mulling over as well - largely based on the entirety of what that package includes vs. what features I absolutely need from that package.

Based upon what you guys have experienced in the past, then, is the Sync 3 even really worth it if you're largely planning to run your navigation, etc. from either Android Auto or Apple Car Play?

I'm dealing with the "second dealer" scenario you've described thus far, so if they don't do my order tomorrow then I'll be reserving and ordering elsewhere tomorrow.
