Fortunately I won't often need AWD so I can just grab a set of dedicated snow tires for the Winter, and eventually I'll replace the stock tires with some A/T tires like the Yokohama Geolandars.
Thx. Yeah, the hitch on my order is that the invoice pricing itself wasn't shown on my build order - just the MSRP and the various AZX pricing. Maybe, however, MSRP and invoice is nearly identical for the Maverick? I'm not a dealer so I can't speak to that.
My dealer sent me the X Plan pricing and it was oddly (less than $1000 cheaper on a $32+K build) closer in price to the MSRP than I expected. Has anyone else come across this with their orders?
Appreciate that help as always, Albert. I just looked at my order form here locally and I see that it hadn't picked up the 360 charge, so no doubt it will be reflected on my price down the line when it comes time to pay the man.
And that, of course, excludes dealers like Granger and some of the others on this board and that of the Bronco. THOSE dealers are top-notch and a pleasure to deal with, discuss, etc.
Even though I'd prefer AWD and some of the extra towing capacity, this truck will be my daily driver (the biggest portion of which is surface street driving), so I opted for the hybrid. It's definitely a tradeoff based upon the options/trims that are currently available for the Maverick, but for...
Looks like the Continental tires on the hybrid have pretty solid reviews, but I'll probably get a set of snow tires and, when the stock tires wear out I'll likely switch to something like the Yokohama Geolandars.
