I'm in the same boat - as in I have no plans to tow frequently or at high loads. At most I'll be towing a very light pop-up camper or a utility trailer as needed, so I'll feel comfortable doing so with merely the hybrid model.

It appears in B&P you can't add the bed extender from the factory with the tonneau soft folding cover and from my order experience I couldn't order it with the hard roll-up cover. Will we, however, be able to order the bed extender after we take delivery and just bolt it on? Or is there...

I made one reservation but the dealer never contacted me (other than a canned response) so I ordered without one with another dealer.

Exactly...or not knowing that they CAN place orders for their reservation holders and have been able to do so for over a week....

I went with Alto Blue for a couple of reasons: I think there will be fewer of that color on the road and because it seems (?) like it might balance out the Lariat interior.

I'd be ok with 1.9 for 60 for a brand new model at launch....

Those look to be 36k reservations for the Maverick, so gotta figure a decent chunk isn't ordered yet.

Theoretically, yeah. LOL They asked for the $100 refundable deposit and I've tried multiple times to contact them to provide it but they won't call back. Guess that hundo isn't super important to them, eh? At least I already got the order confirmation from Ford.

Similar to what I received, along with the "purchase agreement." Doing the deposit separately and have it in writing via email that it's refundable.

I signed a "purchase agreement" which listed out the detailed pricing and am putting down a $100 refundable deposit.

I'd be very curious as to how many orders have been placed so far. Given the responses (or lack thereof) from many dealers who have been contacted I wouldn't be surprised if it's a relatively small number.
