  1. Another 45day email

I think I've got this figured out. Ford puts the VINs on a little plastic chip and then dumps them in one of those Bingo tumbler things and then every Thursday morning somebody rolls that thing and reaches in and pulls out x number of VINs and that's the ones scheduled for that week.
  2. Would you take $5,000 over what you paid?

NOPE! Well maybe if it came off a de-railed train car in KY.
  3. People who had a Ranger before the Maverick

  4. People who had a Ranger before the Maverick

The first Ranger I had was a 1988 bare bones, 4cyl., carbureted (!), 5 speed, with zero options. Didn't even have a radio. Great little truck I drove everywhere. The 2nd one was a 1994 extended cab with the fold down side-ways seats in the back for the boys to ride in. 4.0 V6 auto 2wd. Pulled a...
  5. Has anyone who ordered a hybrid Mav in September 2022 got their trucks yet?

Ordered mine on 9/16 and as of this week it's on a railcar enroute to a Chicago railyard. I hope to see it in a couple of weeks.
  6. Hybrid Lariat MY23 , ordered Sept '22, Support Group

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. When I ordered on 9/16 the sales manager said best case wait time was 6-8 months, worst was a year. I didn't even think about switching to an EB because I wanted a hybrid with a lot of the bells and whistles. This will probably be my last new car purchase (I...

  15. Truck in production, but no window sticker

@ShaunS Not sure where in OR you are (I picked Ontario), the driving mileage from the plant in Mexico to there is a little over 1300 miles. To my dealer it's over 1900 miles. Probably makes no difference but in theory you should get yours sooner than me. Anyway, hope you get it soon.
  16. Truck in production, but no window sticker

I forgot to add that the last email I got also said the delivery date was between March 27 and April 2. Don't know if that helps.

  18. What a Hybrid Maverick sounds like…. a good listen on what to expect while you wait

My son has a Mach E GT. It has the same reverse "dinger". When you get underway in it, it sounds like the sound track from a '50's science fiction movie. Weird noises!
