Had the driver and pax side windows tinted to match the factory tint. Only took them 20 minutes with 2 guys doing the work.

Couldn't you get an eye bolt with the same thread as the pax side hole and screw it in to make a tie down?

Man, I feel for you. It REALLY sucks to have a new vehicle do this to you. I guess I've been lucky so far and strange that trucks built 2 days apart are so different. Only problem I've had was a woman backing into me in a parking lot 1 week after I got the truck.

How long did you have your truck the first time this happened? Miles? I have a March 6, 23 build and have had no problems...yet (furiously knocking on wood). I do drive my truck every day so maybe that helps? I dunno.

Did you sign a contract for a specific amount with the dealer when you ordered? If so, they should honor the contract. My dealer tried to do the same thing but then I reminded them of the signed contract and I was price protected for what I signed for.

I also use the Weathertech door panel protectors....work great, just don't roll the windows down all the way because they will pop off.

If I end up having to pay the deductible, that's what will happen.
