I ended up returning the Mobiletron Moresensors I purchased and having a local tire shop swap the oem sensors to the new wheels + tires. Was going to sell the steelies with the tpms in them for the next owners, but now the steelies are up for grabs without tpms.
It's not reported on the FordPass app either? A more recent service regarding check engine light for the heat exchanger was reported to the FordPass app + CarFax within 3 days of me getting the vehicle back from them, but the airbag recall no sign of it.
For those who got the recall done, how long did it take it to show completed on your carfax/dealer service history?
I had 2 recalls (airbag and underhood fire), plus csp for harness done back in early August and still shows incomplete.
Update - went to two local tire shops this morning, neither was able to sync it up with the Maverick. They put the vehicle in training mode (brake / key method) and attempted to activate the sensors - no response from the vehicle.
I'm a little defeated at this point. Either pay up and get new...
Unrelated.. But for those who completed a recall at a dealership, how long does it take for it to update to show complete/removed from the recall screen?
I had the airbag + fire recall & csp done in early August, but still getting emails and letters about recall not done.
Interestingly... The tpms light is off and now it's reading the sensors - though I still question it's accuracy or if it's syncing correctly still.
This morning I went around and inflated all the tires to around 36.5-37.0 psi per the air pump; but that could be off...
The TPMS readings have...
Yes, it honked and screen showed training mode (brake / key method & key / hazard method).
I was using the generic TPMS tool from Amazon that looked and function similar to the Motorcraft one.

My commute to work is about 20-30 minute depending on traffic; about 10 miles in total one way.
Assuming the manual learning method might trigger it to hopefully relearn the next time it starts, I'm hoping it'll detect some signal from one of the sensors.
That - I did not do this time around. How much air should be released? When doing the hazard method, I tried releasing quite a bit of air and didn't work. I might try again tomorrow or wait for another tool to come on Friday and try them all at once... if none works - I'll probably swing by a...
Just went out and tried brake / key cycle method with the generic TPMS19 tool - still no go.
Either the TPMS tool doesn't work, the TPMS is bad, or the tire shop did not install the TPMS that I gave them...
Tried that method - didn't work. How can one confirm if there's a TPMS installed on the wheel or not besides removing the tire?
I also tried the TPMS19 tool and that didn't work, but that's more of a hit or miss based on reviews... Might have to try another TPMS tool.
How far will the receiver reach? The garage vs driveway that the Maverick is parked at is pretty far...
And how would you calibrate? I'm still waiting for the generic TPMS19 tool I purchased from Amazon to arrive in order to "train" the TPMS sensors.
Damn.. I wish I would have seen the $20 ones as opposed to pay 3x ($60) for somewhat branded from Moresensor. I saw a forum member mention no issues and a Amazon review that someone used it with their Maverick and no issues... So I decided to spend the extra money hoping there wasn't any issues...
I recently purchased some TPMS off eBay (moresensor) for a new set of wheels and tires. Had the wheels and tires balanced with the sensors installed a local tire shop.
First day (Sunday) of driving it - short distance (2mi roundtrip) the Maverick picked up the sensors a few minute after the...
The T3 series is $65 without any discount - I'm sure you're able to find one somewhere.

The T3 should be slightly dimmer than the original. It doesn't seem to hyper flash as much as the original, but then I'm here in cooler weather now, so that might be helping it.
