Um, you DO realize that dealers can only set priorities between 19 and 10, right? I'm confused as to why would you want them to "have priority code moved from a 10?" Ten is the highest priority a dealer can set, and 19 is the lowest. If you don't want your truck, you can always refuse it if...
I haven't looked lately (I already have a drawbar), but E-Trailer.com usually has a lot of options at very competitive prices. They also have experts available to answer your questions, should you have any.
True about the danger of "stuck pedal"... That's why I included the recommendation to ensure the bottom of the pedal / extender clears the floor when you floor it statement. But I just looked at my Maverick, and it seems like the pedal is about 5" off the floor. Hard to believe someone has a...
Ford recommended that you use their "approved" oil - one that meets very specific and detailed requirements. If you do that, regardless of brand, if it meets the spec, you've got the right "quality" oil for which the oil monitoring system is calibrated.
Ford's programming takes into account...
And that's exactly why I opted to buy a '23 Area 51 Lariat Hybrid First Edition from a local dealer. It had sat for several months waiting for parts on the Air Bag recall, and by the time they came in, the original orderer opted for something else. Got the call at 5 PM, and it was sitting in...
FORD: "We're as excited as you are about the Maverick you ordered. Unfortunately, supply constraints have delayed your Maverick, and we have no idea if/when your Maverick will be built.
But in the meantime, here's a nice Iconic Silver dinner plate for you to look at while you dream about...
I don't know about @raymaines, but I've got 2,582 miles on my Maverick Lariat Hybrid that was built on 6/9/22, and I've had no issues whatsoever. Been through a couple of really cold stretches (by Texas standards - 8ºF for 3-4 days, then 15ºF for another couple of days) with the truck parked...
One other potential solution might be to add an "extender" to the pedal to bring it closer to the floor for her. I've seen aftermarket "chrome pedals" and things like that, but had no interest myself, so I didn't look to see if they were any longer than the standard pedal. Just make sure the...
Yeah, I kind of wondered about that 8-hour thing when I read the wording "in some cases"... And I couldn't imagine what locking the doors would have to do with it?
Glad to hear your Maverick is no longer sleepy!
"Snarky-ass"
"Karen"
"You must be real fun at parties"
"when kids jump into grown men's conversation" (because clearly no one is allowed to have any opinion other than his own...)
Yep, you are the "grown-up" in this conversation.
I was living in Houston when several of us from the same company went to NYC on a business trip. It was mid-September, and I thought it was hilarious that all the NY residents were walking around in overcoats with scarves and hats, chins tucked into their coats... Meanwhile the five Texans...
Oh, but they are making those judgements - quite publicly (see highlighted portion above). I guess you haven't seen all the posts where someone asks "What did you pay for it?" followed by 25 posts from folks telling the buyer:
you paid too much
it's idiots like you that are ruining it for...
The way I read that, the 2022 target for the Maverick (@ 53 sq ft, average track times wheelbase) would be around 36 mpg. The hybrid exceeds that, at 37 combined.
Gee - I suddenly feel so virtuous! :ROFLMAO:
Well, I hope you are happy with your Maverick, or if you're still waiting for one, I hope it comes in soon.
I'm quite happy with mine, but still not interested in sharing my financial life in a public forum, and I suspect others feel the same...
Why does it matter to you what the OP paid for their truck? Will it increase or decrease your enjoyment of yours, or will it encourage or discourage you from trying to find one of your own? I just don't get it...
