This rack isn't secured with suction cups. It has mounts that "hug" the top between the door and roof.
I am super happy with this system. This is the 4th vehicle that I've used Thule on, and it's bombproof. Use it for my kayak, roof box, ladder, etc. I'd totally recommend it. :)
It arrived last week, and finally got a chance to pick it up at the dealership and install it. Very happy with the quality and fit. Too bad about the lack of cutouts for the floor anchor points but certainly not a deal breaker.
I'll throw my hat in the ring! Modest updates (just got it on NYE 2021). I plan on putting some Air Lift air bags to reduce trailer squatting, bed LED light strips along the sides, and LED switchback turn signals.

Nice. I had those on my 2006 Pathfinder as it squatted a lot when hooked up to my old boat. I was considering these for my Maverick XL too.
Question: were they an easy install? Like, did you simply squeeze it between the coils while it was un-inflated? Then run the lines to the valves that I...
Exactly. When I got an aftermarket spray in by my dealership, I asked them to avoid the threaded holes, tie downs, cover panels, etc. They did a great job! I'll be getting one of these cubby boxes once they become available.
Good call.
The bed cubby that is stock on the XLT? (Part # NZ6Z-760286A72-A)? My dealership said it wasn't in their system yet, so they couldn't order one.
Did they say what the ETA is on the bed cubby, and cost?
The text from my dealership said:
"There is 10 in stock and approximate ETA would be a week. Could be sooner or later. Parts delivery has just been a little off lately with weather and delivery. But a week is a fair estimate."
Different distribution in Canada I suppose?
My dealership said about 1 week for delivery of the mat if I order with Ford Points. I have an aftermarket spray in liner which works great, but stuff does slide around. I do like the fact that it'd be easier on the knees with this mat. UGH! I'm just not sure if I want to use my points for this...
I'm doing this install once the weather improves for sure! The tonneau cover makes seeing in the bed at night nearly impossible.
I did the DIY rail system (pic below), and it's worked out fine so far. Great post and pics!
Looks great! Will definitely do this too once the weather gets a bit warmer. Too cold in the unheated garage to do this at the moment.
Some other more detailed install pics would be great though, (ie. wiring under the tailgate to the other side, switch install details, etc.).
