Launched and retrieved well at the boat launch. Not particularly steep, and paved (not gravel).
No footage of the retrieval, but I have a clip of my pulling my 18' fiberglass inboard here. Similar in
weight. Didn't have to gun it to get it out whatsoever.
23’ pontoon? No problem. These types of pontoons are generally 110 lbs per foot and the trailer is about 1000 lbs. Also, truck was empty, so total is well under the 4k pound limit, even after filling it up with fuel. So, estimate this to be about 3600 lbs. Launched it at the boat launch with no...
No issues whatsoever. I've used the Thule EVO system on 3 previous vehicles. Always top notch fit and quality. Be sure to get the right fit kit. Here's my parts setup (minus the storage box which I've had for years and used on previous vehicles). Prices in Canadian Dollars.
As an owner of both a Maverick and a 2022 Civic, I can say that the article is pretty spot on. The Civic is WAAAYYYY more fun to drive, and comfortable on longer drives. Both of mine are base models (Maverick XL and Civic Sedan LX).
Where the Civic wins: $25,670 Canadian (2022 Civic LX)

I'm not sure of the weight capacity of the rack, but I've had the storage tote loaded up without any issues.
4 snowboards/boots/helmets
Duffle bag of outerwear
2 sets of snowshoes
Cooler
I also used it on previous vehicles for kayaks, bikes but haven't had a chance to use it yet this season...
Went for a trip from Winnipeg to Lake Louise last week for some snowboarding. First long trip with the Maverick. Went really well, and had a comfortable journey. This image was taken after a little day hike in Canmore, Alberta.
This thread shows the OEM cubby part / install. It'd be cool for some kinda Harbor Freight DIY solution seeing that the OEM part is back ordered.

I have a XL, and as you may know, there's no storage cubby on the XL trim. There's just a cover panel in place. The actual part number for the OEM cubby is NZ6Z-60286A72-A, but is currently backordered.
Just wondering if any owners out there have a cool DIY solution?
Hi! This one is a Thule Atlantis 1800 from about 10 years ago. I found this review at the link below, and Google says the size is:
84"L x 34-7/16"W x 16-15/16"H.

I'm looking for a XL passenger rear view mirror assembly, and seeing if anyone would have a lead on autobody shops having Mavericks being parted out.
As an aside, looking for part #: NZ6Z-17682-A. (unpainted, no power/heat/signals etc).
Well, today started out ok. Replaced my bathroom faucet, installed some new storage for the mudroom, feeling good! In returning home from the store, backing into my garage I miscalculated and clipped my passenger mirror on the side of the door. It exploded into a million pieces.
Fortunately, I...
