I dropped my Maverick off yesterday morning for a minor adjustment. They attempted the 4K Towing safety recall update while they had it. It failed. My Maverick is now a brick. It will be interesting to see where this goes from here.

Nope. My 16 ounce Wally World Ozark Trails bottle is too big for any of the Maverick's cup holders. I have a sand-bag-weighted fabric box on the floor behind the console. That works, but I agree--the cup holders are the worst feature of the Maverick.

So, as an EcoBoost XLT owner, I can’t BUY a FITS kit? Strange. What comes in the FITS kit, anyway?

OK. I ordered mine in June, took delivery January 20, 2022. Original estimate was “fall, 2021.” Sounds like my EcoBoost model was delayed, too.

So, my dealer is telling me that the FITS kits are only available for the Hybrid Maverick. I got the 2.0 EcoBoost and did not get a FITS kit.

You do know there’s only 110v power available when the engine is running, right?

Push to start has to be cheaper to build than a key-operated ignition switch. My cheap 2011 Mitsubishi had push to start and true keyless entry.
