  1. Maverick owners beware! Factory decals removed in automatic car wash! [UPDATED: removed decals]

Or, you could just take the ugly things off with a hair dryer and a plastic scraper. I do that with all of my factory circus-wagon decals. I’d pay them to leave them off if I could.

King of the Road. Roger Miller.
  3. What are you trading in / selling for your Maverick??

2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. $18,000 new, it came with push-to-start and true keyless entry, automatic wipers, and paddle shifters. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss them.
  4. What do you (will you) miss from your old vehicle in the Maverick?

I bought the XLT AWD FX4 with the Lux Pkg. I should have gotten the Lariat. I love the XLT, but I really do miss the push-to-start, true keyless entry, automatic wipers, and paddle shifters that my cheap 2011 SUV had. I gained Apple Car Play, the backup camera, and lane assist, auto-off/start...

The trip computer shows 31.5 mpg and dividing the miles driven by the time, about 53 mph average. Very comfortable, Extremely Quiet...
  6. Suprise review! How the Maverick holds up to a T-Bone accident! Edited with phitos of other car

Glad you are OK and sorry this happened to you. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Let’s talk cupholders

The popular press made a big deal about the new Maverick’s innovative and usefull cupholders. This feature turns out to be one of my two disappointments during my first week of ownership. I don’t find them useful. They were touted as being especially designed to accomodate tall and ā€˜large’...
  8. Question: Physical build sheet?

Question: Is there such a thing as a 'build sheet' for the '22 Maverick? These papers used to be found inside finished cars and served as the ultimate documentation of factory equipment. I'd guess they've probably been replaced on the assembly line by a QR code or such. I'd like to document my...
