Glad I got the FX4 package. I only wanted it for tow hooks and was guesstimating by the time I bought the hooks and either replaced the lower bumper piece or cut out holes, I'd be best off just getting the FX4 package. Turns out I dodged this issue. I just wish I could get my sport mode back...
I take everything in the manual with a grain of salt. Especially the moonroof section mentions a panoramic version. They just copy a paste sections from similar vehicles, but don’t verify that matches what’s being offered. That’s how you get into this mess of inconsistencies. They need to...
I almost exclusively use the tilt function on every moonroof I’ve owned. The order guide(previous one), build and price, and the specs on my tracker all say it will tilt. My build is already scheduled and I’ll be very disappointed if it don’t tilt as I can’t change it now. I’ll expect a credit...
My lariat, Lux, 2.0 awd, 4K, fx4, cp360, moonroof, full size spare, 235 tire upgrade in alto blue was 1 month order to scheduled. I put my order in basically the week after the previous big scheduling week so my guess is I was pulled as soon as my dealer had an allocation. They had ~50 orders...
I saw on Tim’s video about the latest order guide showing power moonroof now instead of power tilt/slide moonroof. I sure hope it still tilts. 90% of the time I use my moonroof it’s tilted. I wouldn’t have bought it without a tilt function. Hoping it’s just a wording change.
If you're worried about warranty, don't tune it is the simple answer. Long answer below.
Not the entire warranty, but anything powertrain related it would void. I know in the BMW world you could technically flash back to the factory tune and most dealers would never know. However, each...
I'm probably in the minority here, but I went AWD not just for the winter weather. I have had FWD before and hate it when you try and put power down and it just squeals the tires even on dry pavement. I've had AWD in most of my cars except my fun RWD toys. I expect my daily driver to put the...
My VIN works on the tracking page where you need the order code with the VIN. However, I get unsupported vehicle at this time on the FordPass app and can’t add it on the Ford site dashboard.
Just going to need to be patient I suppose. Won’t have the truck for another 3 months anyway, lol.
Got my build date scheduled today. Order confirmed 8/16, scheduling confirmed 9/16 for build week of 11/1. Ordered from Germain Ford in Beavercreek.

It seems silly to say it tracks reservations if it doesn't work until you get a VIN. They could put that on there somewhere. I was tripped up by this as well until I found on another thread it shows nothing without a VIN.
I think the black lettering might look classy. Alto Blue is already a classy color. Then the subtle black lettering would bring a more complete appearance while being understated. Maybe combined with a debadge of any awd/ecoboost/hybrid lettering.
I have mixed feelings about it as well. I made the same switch you did and really wish we could have an in-between blue. Like a real navy that doesn't look black in half its pictures. The Velocity was just a little bit too much for me on a truck, especially with the harsh contrast it left on...
If Velocity Blue actually looked like that in person I would have stayed with it like I had originally ordered. Once I saw a Velocity Blue Mustang on the lot, it looked much lighter in the sun. I like bright blues on my sports cars, but this was a bit much for a truck. I switched to Alto Blue...
Count me in. Just contacted my dealer and changed from Velocity Blue to Alto Blue. Now fingers crossed it gets previewed then scheduled this week so I can stop looking at pictures to change my mind.
Starting to really debate switching my order from velocity blue to alto blue now. Thinking velocity is a bit too flashy for a truck. Also, it really highlights/contrasts the cheap plastics, especially rear bumper. I’ve owned (and currently have one) several vibrant stand out blues. Might just...
I ordered a Velocity Blue 2.0 EcoBoost AWD, Lariat/Lux/360/FX4/Tow/Moonroof/235 tires/Full size spare (did I miss anything? haha) on 8/16 at Germain in Beavercreek. Only local dealer I found to be below MSRP. Received my order confirmation email before leaving the dealer. Fingers crossed for...
