I was in Upland today and decided to swing by the local Ford dealer to see the Maverick they have in stock, I get there and they have marked it up $12,000! It was almost $50,000 for a Maverick! Now I get why people call them “stealerships”. And to make it worse, some poor guy actually bought it...
I got it mostly because my dad has it on his truck and I liked it. Took some of the strain off of driving. Granted the XL doesn’t even have cruise control, but anything to make driving more bearable in California
They definitely will make a Hybrid AWD Maverick. Maverick is the entry level truck and more for inter city or first time buyers. By giving a somewhat large variety they will attract more customers and cement them in
You get a VIN when it is scheduled for production, and you get an email from Ford. Check for the second email you got from Ford not the first as that is order confirmation
If you want a fast hybrid truck you might as well get the power boost F-150. Lots of power there and great MPG for a truck of that size. That said, it is more then double the MSRP of a base Maverick. You have to give and take here and there, I had only a few issues in my Ranger that had a 0-60...
Mine is similar except to hitch receiver. Ordered in August but dealer gave me a high priority code to get it in sooner
Thats my dealer! I asked them and they said they had no XLs at all coming in. They add quite a steep markup on non-orders. They were marking up some cars $10K or more!!!
Hello all! I switched my Order to an XL Hybrid recently and got a build date for November! Basic bare bones is what I want so I can add extras if I want too. I do plan to trade it in a few years down the line hopefully for a PHEV with AWD. But the XL is more then plenty for now!
Higher the number the less of a priority the order is. The lowest you can get is 10, where Ford Picks from those and lowers them down to 2 for scheduling. I’d be calling your dealer to get them to lower your priority
