I may, but I am still not decided on the Maverick or the Bronco Sport just yet. Was going to decide by Sunday and order either one but seems I cannot get the Maverick. Going to contact a few other dealers, but most of the ones around here want a few grand as a deposit

My dealer said I can’t order one until the 28th. I probably won’t get one now, by then there may be thousands of orders ahead of mine

Bronco sport Badlands has leather seats and cyber orange paint, it’s a nice combo in my opinion

If I do get the Maverick, it will either be a Lariat Hybrid, or a Lariat with AWD, FX4. Both in Cyber orange, with Lariat luxury package, and moon roof

Roadshow just published a video stating top of the line Lariat with all boxes cracked costs around $38K

Sad but not surprised the Hybrid isn’t available with AWD, but the other features more then make up for it! Hoping to see Build and Price up today. Already have a reservation in which is different from how the other vehicles were

Only reason I can think is so reservations are slow for the first few hours, but I’ll be up at 3AM (Pacific...) so I can reserve early

That’s more of a safety aspect. The more rigid a product, the less energy it absorbs or disperses. Hence why cars from the 1950s often drove after a bad crash. Not with the original occupants as they didn’t live often. Now, when you see a wrecked new car the fenders and so on are blown to bits...
