Jeepers those thoughts are scary, I have certainly seen both of those symptoms years ago driving older cars. If it is leaking past the head gasket, white smoke, MPG improves significantly but sooner rather than later, engine seizure. Damn, I sure hope not.

Thanks for coming back and updating us Taz, sounds like you handled it perfectly instead of getting stubborn and hurting yourself. Love your Cyber Orange truck, same color as I am trying to order as a MY23. You are just down the 401 from me, (Milton) would love to have a look at yours, actually...
Had a conversation with local dealer in Oakville today. Have a retiree friend from Ford plant in Oakville who referred me there. His good friends daughter is apparently the GM there. A sales consultant from there called me and I told him what I wanted (Hybrid XLT Lux) and he configured it, and...

Assuming this really was a client order with his vin and email he should not have to use financing if he doesn't want it. However are we sure this wasn't one of those cases where the dealer got another maverick (not the ordered one) from either stock or a cancelled order and then offered it to...
Here in Ontario the is no automatic ability to pay off an auto loan with a dealer early without penalty, it depends on how it is written. What I would do in this case is take financing with the dealer but make sure there is a clause written in there limiting what the prepayment penalty is...
