Sensationalism, this was not a crankshaft issue. That picture was already posted on here and other places. As I recall it was not even a Hybrid.

If I recall correctly this was found to be an eco that had a new...
lol, I know someone in Mississauga who got a call from his dealer that his was stuck in a railyard north end of Toronto and wondered if he wanted it driven to the dealership. Buyer picked up salesman or sales manager, not sure which, and drove him to the railyard. Dealer drove it back to the...
Well if it was me after all this time I would be walking into the dealership and ask them to print you out a copy of where they entered the ROVP properly. If they didn't do that you are looking at doing a brand new order of a MY23 on Aug 2nd or after and waiting again. If that is the case find a...
You definitely need to place a new MY23 order but DO NOT cancel your MY22 order at all. If they can't build your MY23 that new order will replace your MY22 order and you will get some sort of financial consideration. The amount hasn't been announced. Very important to not let your dealer cancel...
This is exactly the same here in Canada according to my GM contact. There are NO orders actually going to Ford corporate. Some (all?) dealers are just creating their own internal list for whenever the order banks do open. I placed this so called pre-order a month ago with her dealership and of...
Interesting 16 month bump... lol... funny to see the comments here about the Mav not likely selling for over MSRP and the talk about Mav's parked in Hermosillo. Thousands there now as well as railyards all over NA, why? Who knows... Trucker shortages, on hold for whatever, and on and on.
Don't disagree with anything you have said and am quite aware that I will pay MY23 pricing since my "pre-order" will be a new order. However from what it sounds like in the good ol US of A, not all dealers have salesmen (or sales managers either) that you can trust for reliable, accurate and...
Agreed, that would be the right thing to do but wonder if ALL dealers will do that. How about a first time customer that placed an order last year and now is just sitting in the middle of a stack of paper on your desk vs a client who has purchased numerous vehicles from you who walks in...
lol, yep known for wheat, oil wells, Dorothy and Tim...
Flown across your state several times to or from Vegas or California. I picture it as similar to Saskatchewan here in Canada.
Tim, you are the best and while I "think" I'm content with the dealer in Oakville, Ontario I will be ordering from, if Kansas was just a little closer and importing a US vehicle wasn't such a hassle I would likely take a road trip to Kansas. One of the few states I have never visited..
Thank...
Isn't THAT the truth....
Wonder if it would be good for someone in the "know" to put up a list of what needs to be done properly to get your MY22 order (assuming you have one) redone as a MY23 order on Aug 2 and also how to get an order for MY23 for those of us who did not get a MY22 order...
While I find that extremely unlikely you could always arrange your own lease with any leasing company, They pay the dealership for the Mav (or any vehicle), they then own it and lease it to you.
Personally it sounds like a dealership trying to get someone to walk so they can sell it with ADM.
