My parents have an Escape of that vintage, and there is literally no way to unlock the back doors from the back of the vehicle! No buttons, no latches, no nothing. So frustrating and a huge safety issue to not be able to open the door from the inside if it's locked.
Same boat here. My Lariat Hybrid with 4K tow pkg (Ruby Red) (nothing else on the order except the door keypad) was ordered on 8/3/24, and not a peep from Ford since the original confirmation email.
People say that for the price of a Lariat one could go up to a Ranger, and looking at prices, that may be true. But a Ranger is a physically much larger truck than the Maverick, and I want to fit my truck in my garage with room to spare, which is something that a continually growing Ranger...
Ordered the 3rd day the order bank was open, but still waiting for a build email for my '25 Lariat Hybrid with 4K tow in Ruby Red. Hope to get an email soon, but not sure what the likely holdup would be on my relatively basic order.
It's recognized that it's often hard to know a true overall owner quality experience, as usually only those that have troubles complain. So, here's a poll to help see whether Mavericks have been king of the road, or if they've been shop queens? It's too many options to make a poll of every...
Probably depends on if those first builds for 2025 are actually given in-depth inspections and used by real customers to stress test all capabilities and functions. If so, then they should be able to catch a lot of the general initial quality issues. But if they just sit and no ones actually...
My current truck that my Maverick is going to replace is close to the Velocity Blue (which is a pretty color and easy to spot in parking lots as it's not as common a color as most other vehicles' colors), but I just couldn't pass up the red this time.
Most knowledgeable people have indicated that the first orders are estimated arrive at dealers around the end of December - early January. After that, it's hard to predict on build capacity, number of pending orders, dealer allocations, and build holds on specific orders that may not have all...
When we had small children, we used pull-down sunshades on the side windows to help block the sun. They used suction cups on the inside of the windows to hold in place. One example is https://www.amazon.com/Window-Shades-Retractable-Effectively-Sunlight/dp/B0DB1VJNLH (no affiliation or...
I have a 2025 Mav on order, and am beginning to look at tonneau cover options. I would like something hard for better protection from potential theft and snow loads during the wintertime. I will probably have it installed on the truck most of the time. However, I am also going to be needing...
Is anyone else disappointed that Ford has dropped putting AWD/Hybrid badges on the back tailgates for the 2025 model year? From what I can tell, they've completely dropped any sort of tailgate badging. I'd been hoping to be able to display that the vehicle is a hybrid, but alas, that doesn't...
That may be true for the truck itself, but when I was headed out to the South Dakota black hills a few years ago along I-90 (80mph speed limit and temps above 100F), there were quite a few campers which were on the side of the road with ruined tires. There were tire failures on all types of...
A couple questions about the Maverick and extra cost colors. For 2025 (and previous years), a couple of the exterior colors are extra cost. Azure Grey is an extra $495 and the Ruby Red is $390 more, at least for 2025. Do they really cost that much more than standard paint colors to apply, or...
