My parents have an Escape of that vintage, and there is literally no way to unlock the back doors from the back of the vehicle! No buttons, no latches, no nothing. So frustrating and a huge safety issue to not be able to open the door from the inside if it's locked.

People say that for the price of a Lariat one could go up to a Ranger, and looking at prices, that may be true. But a Ranger is a physically much larger truck than the Maverick, and I want to fit my truck in my garage with room to spare, which is something that a continually growing Ranger...
