I'm seeing some videos popping up on YouTube from dealers advertising 2025 Mavericks for sale already. Were dealers actually able to order stock inventory Mavericks already and they've been delivered in the first wave of deliveries, or are these likely customer orders that a customer declined...
Heck, we just got 2 of these "extended warrantee" things in the mail today for a 2010 Lincoln MKS we just got title to less than 2 weeks ago and are the third owner for.
For those that have a heated steering wheel on their Maverick, is the the whole steering wheel heated, or only partial? On my Subaru, the top section (approx 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock) isn't heated (and this is normal for this vehicle). I often drive with a hand in that position, and so am not...
Are these windshield failures all Lariat trims? I believe the Lariat has a different windshield than the XL/XLT, and is called an "acoustic" windshield that helps cut down on wind noise. I also have a recent Subaru with an acoustic windshield, and although I haven't myself had any problems...
Yeah, I've gotten those extended warranty letters in the mail quite a bit, and they're never actually from the manufacturer. If you do decide to get an extended warranty, I highly suggest getting a manufacturer's warranty from a dealer (any dealer can sell you one - it doesn't need to be the...
I would guess that there are different wiring harnesses to go to the 4 additional cameras all the way back to the main control computer. There are also different front bumpers, side mirrors, and a different tailgate as well to support the camera.
Have a '25 Hybrid Lariat on order. Yes, it's expensive for the physical size, but my criteria for a pickup truck purchase is as follows:
Suitable replacement vehicle for my '13 RWD Frontier that gets 16-22 mpg, depending on weather
Daily driver for me to/from work in an in-town scenario of...
One item that I haven't seen listed that I include in my vehicles is a neon green reflective safety vest. Takes up almost no room, but if I'm needing to be on the side of the road changing a tire, I want to be as visible as possible, and a green safety vest that's reflective is ideal to be...
I''m actually surprised I haven't seen solar panel technology brought to market that have the hood/roof of an EV/Hybrid vehicle covered with discreet solar panels to continually trickle recharge an EV/Hybrid no matter where it is without need for plugging in unless a large amount of recharge...
The hybrid really excels in MPG with a lot of in-town stop/go driving. If most of your driving is highway, the slight mileage improvement of the hybrid compared to the 2L turbo will not be as noticeable at the pump. Also, turbos tend to loose less power at high altitudes than...
They probably also need to find jump packs to recharge / jump-start the run-down 12V hybrid batteries that have been sitting in a holding lot for up to several weeks now. ;-)
One of the tasks I use my current pickup for (and will be doing the same thing with my soon-to-be-built Maverick) is to haul mulch/dirt for outdoor projects around the yard. These are bulk materials that I typically shovel out of the back with the tailgate down. But with the tailgate down...
I was just looking at the interior specs for my '25 Lariat order, and under seats, I'm seeing that the rear seats are heated? Does anyone know if that's really the case, and if so, I'm assuming it's new for '25? I'm seeing it here on this screen capture, and on the main build-and-price, heated...
Not that I'm aware of. I didn't make any special request about Job 1 vs Job 2. It was in the system since I ordered it (as confirmed by Ford chat). It didn't seem to have anything unusual as far as specifications (Lariat Hybrid with 4K tow and keypad), so not sure why it wasn't scheduled...
I sure hope that 36' is an extended length and not collapsed length. If that's how long it is in the shortest position, that's almost 10' longer on each end than the truck, which will be very difficult to navigate through traffic with the overhangs and extra turning radii needed due to the...
Are you talking about the new year hold for quality control, or the hold on '24 sales due to the backup camera issue? If it's the backup camera issue on XL/XLT, I believe that only impacts '24 models, so shouldn't have any impact on '25 deliveries since the '25s have a completely different...
