Yes I agree this is most likely a liability and not a capability issue. My 22 Maverick does not disable this feature when towing and it really works great.

Yes my 22's battery was replaced. If your Maverick has an Enhanced Flooded Battery they will replace it with an AGM. They actually scheduled a mobile unit to come out to my place of work. It was painless.

I'm interested in this too. Does anyone have the correct specs of the lug nuts for the Maverick. The ebay link show a set but says it's not compatible with the Maverick.

That's a sweet ride! I'm an NB Miata fan as well. I had the opportunity to drive the twisties at Miata's at the Gap in 2024. Looking forward to it this year again! And who says the Maverick can't do real truck stuff? I have done quite a bit of towing with my 22 Maverick (named Lil Britches).

My 22 Mav works great with lane centering while towing any type of trailer. Not sure why they can't figure it out.

I call my Mav "Lil Britches" just because it's littler than the bigger cousins. But it does pretty much the same thing the big ones are doing while sipping less gas along the way.

I went with the Lariat, Lux Pack, FX4, and Tow Package on my 22 Mav. This was the best decision after owning it for 2 years now. The price was very reasonable back then too. I love the lane assist!
