  1. Anyone else “In Production” ?

Ford updates the window sticker once/week, however the vehicle status on shop.ford.com updates when there are changes. Mine changed sometime yesterday and now shows built date of 11/25/2021 and an updated estimate of delivery window from the 15th-23rd of December. I'm still thinking more...
  2. Anyone else “In Production” ?

Your dealership can check status by doing a "vehicle history" report. It will at some phase of being in production, give the dealer a window of delivery while your Ford e-mail will only give one date of delivery to the dealership. My dealership said to go with the latest date for delivery and...
  3. 45 Day Owner Review of Maverick XLT

Ditto on the excellent real world review. I have a question. Many are updating tires. I'm on the fence. Don't drive off road much, and don't need an aggressive tire as most of my driving will be highway. What is your opinion of the Pirelli Scorpions? Happy Thanksgiving!
  4. Anyone else “In Production” ?

In production showed up on the Ford e-mail on 11/22. An actual date was added to the In Production note. I checked with my Classic Ford salesman, Taylor Whithurst and he verified this with Webdo and by checking the Vehicle Visibility details. On the Webdo it showed "trim line" which may mean...
  5. HTX Mavericks

Galveston here - Talked with Taylor Whitehurst of Classic Ford today. My Mav was ordered 9-17, went into production sometime in the last week - is now in second phase of production and is in the "trim line" status in the vehicle visibility report. Estimated delivery to Classic is around...
  6. Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus 245/65/17 installed

Excellent look for the Pirelli's. You did good. Let us know how the ride compares with the Scorpion ATR's that you took off and replaced with the AT Plus and if mpg changes going from 225 to 245. Thanks much!
  7. Maverick Production, Build and shipping timing directly from Ford

Thanks much for the info and update from Ford Angeloin. My in production date is the same as yours - 11-13-21 and I'm a 2.0 EB Lariat. The tracker has been working for the last few days and so I'll wait for the 1 and 1/2 weeks from 11-13 and hopefully we're built at that time and move forward...
  8. Production moved from 11/15 to 11/22 then in production on 11/13

With push forwards in build weeks and some that move forward then back I don't think there is any way to predict. I've just checked every other day and feel pretty lucky - and wish the best to those waiting just like me! If there are changes to my window sticker I'll let others know as this...
  9. Production moved from 11/15 to 11/22 then in production on 11/13

Mine is just like yours. Original build week of 11/15 then moved to 11/22. When I checked my Ford "status" email with order number and VIN several days ago I was shown as "in production" as of 11/12 and have a window sticker. Yep - there is hope for others and this was a happy surprise! My...
  10. Tailgate Assist Update

Thanks for the great information. I just picked up the strut from Classic Ford in Galveston this morning. I plan to spray all iron parts with Rustoleum Rust Reformer and add a layer of Boeshield T-9 to top it off prior to installation. My build week is 11-22 so it will sit a while!
  11. Trading-In/Selling Outright/Selling to Online Companies - Tell Your Story

Once I had a build week (November) I checked my 2016 F-150 Lariat's value with Vroom (Texas Direct), CarMax, and AutoNation - all in the Houston area. Vroom and AutoNation sent within range offers in the 36K range. CarMax wanted an in person visit and I had an appt. scheduled. My local...
  12. Plastic lumber divider in Maverick Flexbed installed [length = 54 1/4 inches]!

I'd recommend that you call Menard's prior to a visit to get the plastic lumber SKU #11229974. I just figured they'd have it in stock, stopped in, and found out it is a special order item. That was at the Menard's in Kearney, Nebraska while on a road trip. So, call ahead to see if your local...
  13. CACTUS GRAY Maverick Photos Thread

Read the entire thread! Thanks for the tire info. The Toyo's look just right on your Maverick -- did you go Discount Tire? And....what kind of deal did you get? Thanks!
  14. Painted tow hooks red to match FX4 sticker

On your color the red is a great touch! Thanks for sharing. Question - What size of Toyo Open Country AT's did you get and did you trade the Pirelli's and get an adjustment? The Toyo's really look like they fit the Maverick.
  15. Extended Warranty or not?

I've driven Fords for about 30 years. For some I've purchased the extended ESP warranty and some I haven't. It is an insurance policy and the price you pay is negotiable. Of course they are going to work hard to sell it to you. Have I used Ford's extended warranty? Yes - was it beneficial -...
  16. Nov 1st Build Delayed to 8th - EcoBoost

My EB was moved from 11-15 to 11-22 for production based on a 10:20 pm email from Ford last night (10-9). VIN is 21233. Hope this was an adjustment for us all and they keep the EB's moving down the production line!
  17. Build numbers based on vin

On October 9th, at 10:20 I got an email from Ford that my production date has changed from November 15 to November 22. My VIN is 21233. This does not surprise me as the plant is not producing for two days and when looking at other VIN's that are close to mine we are bunched in several weeks...
  18. Build numbers based on vin

Nov. 15 build week and VIN 21233
  19. Picked up my Cactus Gray Lariat AWD FX4 Fully Optioned

Excellent pics - thank you. My order and build is yours except in oxford white, and no sunroof. I have VIN and build week of November 15. I'm in Galveston so not too far away. What was your shipping time, if you have it. Also, let us know your thoughts on the Pirelli tires as mine will be...
  20. 245/65R17 Toyo Open Country AT III tires installed + MPG results on Maverick XLT 2.0 AWD

The Toyo Open Country AT III is an excellent tire with long mileage. I ran them on my F-150. Running a bigger tire did cause MPG to go down by 2, but the look was worth it. Thanks for the pics. Your Maverick sits and looks great with the Toyo's. Let us know how the ride and mileage goes...
