Mine was the same way for a bit. Went into production on 2/21, then sat for a while without updates. Then I got the built notification on 2/28 and shipped notice very early this morning. Mine is a Hybrid XLT though. I'm not certain if build times vary between EB and Hybrid.

I have a Fusion with the dial, and it just takes getting used to. I don't dislike it. It's also smoother to change drive modes than any levers I've used. I also have a Hyundai Tuscon with buttons for each drive mode. Be glad you have a dial and not buttons. :)
