It seems like Ford is pushing build dates back a week due to the planned 2 day shutdown this week. My build was moved from 11/22 to 11/29. At least it will be built during a full week and not a half week before a holiday with everyone wanting to go home and have a party.

I bought a set from Ford parts rather than get them installed from the factory and they are the stick on type and not the ones that go in the window channel.
Usually the part of the receiver that you can see is part of an assembly with arms that go out to either side of the vehicle to brackets that bolt onto the body/frame. Look at either side of where the receiver would go and see if you see a series of empty holes on each side. Don't forget that...
I deal with Mahwah Ford in Mahwah, NJ. Have been dealing with them for over 25 years and have never had an issue. When I was looking to buy my 2000 F-350 Crew Cab 7.3L diesel pickup, they were the only dealer that would accept my A-plan for the purchase. I had gone to 5 other dealers before them...
The June desert lot of Bronco Sports has started to receive their missing chips and are being shipped. That will give Ford more room for the Hybrid Mavericks until the EPA testing is completed.
The news release only specifically mentions the Bronco Sport and not the Maverick. Since they are built on two separate lines, it could be either one of them or both that's affected.
The latest report from Ford is that they expect to build 7,000 units this month. If they had all the parts readily available with no supply issues, the assembly line is capable of 750 units per day. Would like to see that day arrive sometime soon.
I got the FX4 package specically for the upgraded features for "off road" use. Would rather have fog lights instead of tow hooks but I'm not going to make a stink about it. Could always take the tow hooks out and replace them with fog lights, but that would involve modifying the Mavericks...
Obviously, that's one of the things that you are paying extra for with the FX4 and how Ford is keeping the cost of the Maverick down. It's not dumb, it's COMMON business practice and done by every manufacturer. It's the old saying of "you get what you pay for".
According to my dealers regional manager, you can make changes to the order if the Window Sticker has NOT been made. Once the window sticker is made you can make no more changes. The only down side to this is that, once you make any changes, you get kicked back out to a priority code of 10+ and...
Maybe not specifically, but from the owners manual for both the EcoBoost and they Hybrid, Ford printed the following:
For best overall vehicle and engine
performance, premium fuel with an octane
rating of 91 or higher is recommended. The
performance gained by using premium fuel
is most...
No it's not present specifically, but what is present is the "minimum". If Ford didn't think that it would also run better on a better grade of fuel, they would have left that out (IMPO).
It's more to clean out the insides of the engine and to be able to run it at its peak capacity. Been doing that on my 2016 Escape with 187,000 miles with no issues and will keep doing it with my Bronco and soon with my Maverick. It also has to do with the price of a gallon of gasoline these...
