If Maverick had a supercharged 5.0 Coyote w/AWD and got 10mpg for $6K, Iād be all over it. If itās fun to drive and puts a smile on my face, itās worth it.
I almost died trying to merge with highway traffic in a rental Prius and never once during that incident was I thinking āthis mofo gets great mileage!ā. 26mpg is much better than my Tacomaās 19mpg and the 2.0EB has acceptable acceleration in my Fusion. Go buy the Hybrid if mpg is your concern.
Iāll just wait for the off road reviews once the Maverick is in the hands of the media. Even if itās not as capable as my Tacoma, that wonāt deter me from taking delivery.
I have no idea when mine will be delivered nor will I annoy my salesman lol. My Tacoma is serving me very well and am in no rush for the Maverick. PM me when yours is delivered though!
Iām not even following my priority. I have my Tacoma and itāll be here until I get the call to pick my Maverick up. Anticipation is a stress inducer that I donāt need, but itās fun watching you guys deal with it!
^^^ So, have you formally complained to Honda and its mechanical engineers for placing the catalytic converters in a location which enables criminals to easily remove them? Because I thought cats were strategically placed to reduce exhaust emissions? Is Budweiser responsible for a drunk driver?
I pick my stuff up at Adamās Polishes in Colorado and get a small discount for in store purchases. Nice, helpful staff and the owner is normally on site.
Iām assuming itās 5w-30/20 weight oil for the EB 2.0. Maybe the same for the 2.5L. Most likely full synthetic. Not sure of the intervals, but full synthetic oil, a good filter and good driving habits can prolong oil life.
Lighter weight wheels have less rotational inertia and therefore mpg, acceleration and handling all increase. But, factory aluminum wheels need to be strong enough to handle curb impacts and pot holes, so there manufactured thicker than aluminum race wheels so theyāre still āheavyā.
