It does this on my Mustang if I'm looking at a text and then start driving. And yes, if I'm in stop and go traffic it will come up and go away depending on how fast I'm going.
The solution is to switch screens to the home page or the audio one.
If this is true, it's a pain in the ass to have to wait for these to be built but having a truck that delivers more than 40 mpg? Worth the wait.
I'll be driving this thing for the next decade or more. Waiting a few months to get it isn't a problem, especially if it's for what is being said...
You'll get it when you get it.
That isn't what you wake to hear but it's the truth. All this speculation over build dates, rail capacity, number of trucks the plant can build in a shift makes as much difference to when your truck arrives as a donkey farting by a cactus in Mexico.
I'll wait...
Well, with the 1495 delivery fee, nobody was ever getting one in the first place.
It'll happen when it happens. Ain't no use getting bothered over it because there's not a damn thing I can do about it. I've got enough things to deal with that I can control. This isn't one of them.
When we were doing the build out for my business, I did have some contractors with F250s come by. They used the entire commercial parking space on the street for their truck. And they did need it. When you're hauling ten foot long metal studs and 4x10 sheets of drywall, you need a truck like...
Ain't gonna do a thing to get the truck to you any quicker, will it?
Control what you can and don't worry about what you can't.
Complaining about Ford's manufacturing process is like a sports team whining about the ref. It won't do a thing to change the outcome.
Ain't that the truth.
The way I see it, people have two options.
First, accept that sometimes, 💩 happens. Your truck will get arrive when it gets built. If you can accept that level of uncertainty, them just wait until it's delivered and enjoy it when it comes.
If that level of uncertainty...
It's still fall, correct? If they deliver even one truck between now and December 22, then it's not delayed.
They said first deliveries in fall 2021.
That may not be the answer you want to hear but it's the truth.
I'll be using it for business. Yes, I'd prefer to have an extended cab with a six foot bed instead of a 4.5 foot bed with a crew cab.
Still, for my purposes, which is to do a run to Costco Business three times a week to supply my business, it'll be fine. There may be times where I have to put a...
I was told that late October, most likely November and possibly December are when I can expect my hybrid XL. Is that still a reasonable time frame given what you know?
Thanks.
The only fault I have with this is that they didn't take the truck onto any city roads. You know, like the beauty shots of the Maverick they shot all over downtown San Diego?
You've got an audience of thousands of people, probably a few dozen within driving distance of the Covert dealership. Maybe one of them will pay you a fee of a couple hundred bucks to go with you to the dealership to take possession of the vehicle.
Call it your own version of payment for order...
The idea of being able to go two months between fillups with my three time a week supply runs was a big attraction for the hybrid. But if the pricing were reversed, I would have gotten the non-hybrid version.
I can buy a lot of gas for $1,000.
There's nothing in any of the reviews that makes me think that this is not a good work truck for me. I hate some of the quibbles. It has truck like steering? Who'd have thunk that a truck would handle like a truck? Only anyone with half a brain?
It's a good solid truck for those of us who do...
Look at where most of the orders are coming from, California. If you live where most of the population does, coastal California, there's just no need for AWD unless you plan on going up into the mountains a lot.
My main car is a Mustang GT with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires that I drive on year...
