Sigh.
thatās my point. If ford could get 26/17 from using a different cai they would so they could brag about the figures in a brochure.
Putting a cai or a k/n filter on a stock vehicle is like tuning on 87 octane. Futile and a waste of time and money.
Itās almost as if a multi billion dollar company doesnāt test their powertrains for the best power to economy with longevity in mind before they bring a product to market. š¤
Other manufacturers sell small cars profitably. Have you ever looked at Civic or Corolla sales?
When it comes to small cars, the fact is ford built crap. The transmission issues alone were enough to kill them. And their first answer was the ecosport š ok.
If the maverick is troublesome, all of...
Agreed. 1.5 is a worthless engine.
The 2.5 naturally aspirated Mazda that ford put in the escape/fusion until 2019 is the waaaaaay better choice. Better engine by far with same hp rating.
VSS vehicle speed sensor needs to show the vehicle isnāt moving for it to go into park.
someone needs to run theirs out of gas running 70 on the expressway to see if it goes into neutral though!
First off, Iām not talking about trans tuning which sure can make a difference.
i was commenting on tuning a 2.0 for 87 octane. Like I said, makes no sense to me and I would like to see the proof. Tuning something on the ragged edge using 87 seems counterproductive.
I mean what do you expect ford to do?
And yes, you should maybe take a look at your life and be happier. Donāt stress over the little things like a car order.
