I've never owned a hybrid until I bought my 2025 Maverick hybrid. My trade in was a 2008 Honda Element and it got 22 miles per gallon combined, 24 on the highway in perfect conditions. The Maverick hybrid gets almost 38 combined (37.5) and that's driving highway speeds in its 'normal' mode. I've...
A 2008 Honda Element. Great vehicle but I thought it underpowered and the mileage was terrible for a 4 cylinder, like 24 on a good day. The mechanic said I probably could have gotten another 200K out of it so I'm hoping the 2025 hybrid Maverick gets at least that.
I have a 2025 hybrid AWD XLT and love the great mileage and the 5 drive modes, including the 'sport' which definitely helps when I need the power, like in highway driving. It's also got the 4K towing capacity, so for me at least, it's the perfect truck.
I'm guessing for camping perhaps? Not while driving. I had some cheap mosquito nets for the windows of my last vehicle when I slept in it (Honda Element).
What's the point of a keypad entry system? My 2025 Maverick unlocks when I step close enough that the keypad entry is redundant. Seems like I've been scammed out of $$$.
You must have had some bad luck with vehicles. I'm sort of regretting trading in my 08 Honda Element for a new 25 Maverick because it had 200,000 miles on it and the mechanic said it was good for another 200,000. I thought using it as a trade in was prudent but we'll see. Before that I had...
Count your blessings; I left mine out during a storm last night and was rewarded with quite a few dings from hail. On a brand new 2025 Maverick Hybrid with fewer than 2,000 miles. Time to get insurance quotes for me at least.
I ordered my new XLT Eruption Green with the keypad and the dealer didn't install it so I have to make an appointment to have it done. The salesman said there'd be no charge because it was his error but that remains to be seen.
As for the keypad; I assume it's to allow you to leave the keys in...
Does such a keypad increase the chances of theft? I'm having second thoughts about having it installed on my new Maverick. Wouldn't a would-be thief see the lock and think, "The keys/fob is inside"... ?
My plan was to have it for when I'm out camping or hiking and don't want to have my key fob...
My guess it's because the drop in has some space between it and the surface of the bed which allows moisture to collect and lead to corrosion? Spray in is literally on the surface with no space between the two.
I took possession of my new 2025 Maverick XLT hybrid AWD this week. Eruption Green of course. I ordered it back in August but somehow did so without anything in back. It's my first pickup truck. What's the best thing for the bed, i.e., spray-in, liner, etc? Sorry, no pics but you've no doubt...
I placed the order through the Ford website but it's being delivered to a local Ford dealership where I presume they'll charge something for their hard work (none).
I ordered a 2025 hybrid AWD back in August and it's been delivered to the dealership. The Ford cost is one thing. Any insight on what to expect the dealership to add on to the cost? As it is, the Ford cost is pushing the limits of my budget so anything added on could be a deal breaker. Thanks...
I did order one and was told that even though I ordered it, I can walk away from the agreement because that model truck is in such demand that it will sell regardless. I wouldn't worry about it.
