Sorry for delayed response. I just saw your question. Install is very easy. With one huge exception. I have a hybrid and I believe that the holes that the bolts go into are different than an EcoBoost. Just the two holes at the center mounting points on the passengers side, doesn't fit the bolts...
Final add ons. Step rails and side mouldings. I'm done until next year.
We will have more time for camping so we'll be looking at getting a tent and camping set-up.
Had this license plate made for the front. Cost $6.99, so why not, although shipping costed more. We’ll see how well they last. I have the state issued one in the glove box in case I need to swap them out. I still see lots of cars with no front plates, so I don’t anticipate any issues. At least...
Thanks, yeah you don't want to be the outcast. I also use any excuse that I can to justify my mods. My wife didn't even realize that she needed this stuff until I pointed out the benefits🤣. Convinced or just humoring me it's all good. Hope you get your Maverick soon. We're really loving ours.
Thanks, well put, my sentiments exactly. I also went to the same university, lol. It's funny that you never graduate from it, but you can take a class anytime you want.
Hi all, the quoted post was actually a prank, no one picked up on it☹. I was just trying to have fun. I do like that the letters almost spell America though. They did send what I ordered and I know where they’re supposed to go. Although I didn’t plan on using them on the tailgate. I was actually...
These add ons cost just under $2200, with the majority of it being what I had the dealership add. Even with the most basic trim it took just over a year from order date. The things that I liked about the XL is that I actually prefer the interior and the grill better than the other two model...
I ordered the Maverick tailgate letters and this is what I received? They totally messed up my order. It spells AMERICA. The arrow below the “A” could also have been made better. Don’t know what that arrow is for, maybe to denote north America? Also as you can see these are too wide to fit...
Ford recommends no more than 15 amps so there's not much you can run off it.
After watching this video I'm using the same setup. I have a hybrid, I don't know how it would work for EB.
Agreed, I took the easiest route. Ford put it there and I utilized it.
Do you have any concerns of draining the battery if you accidentally leave the lights on?
Yes, for sure, actually preferred. Just make sure that it's for outdoors/waterproof just to be safe. I didn't spend much time looking for a kit with one long strip, but would have taken that option had I easily found one.
I wish I did. I started reading this forum and started planning as soon as they said it was being sent to the dealership. I waited until I actually picked up the truck to place my parts orders. I was just leary about dealing with the dealership. I wanted to physically have the truck. Boy, that...
