All of my wife's vehicles had cruise control that she never used, so she's good without. That's what's great about all the options available. We get to pick and choose for our specific needs.
You're welcome. For anyone that wants to do this configuration just remember that you have to use the full of length of light strip "A". Since I planned to get a tonneau cover, I knew I'd want to run lights along the front of the bed. Without a tonneau you would see the strip.
Gladly, all the tutorials are using the Nilight two light strip set. I used the three string set. It costs $7 more, you'll have an extra strip of lights and extension wire.
As you can see light strip "A" has a connection at the end for connecting strip "B".

Is it feasible to get a longer light strip that can go all the way from the right, front and left side of the bed? I'm also wanting to avoid running wires under the truck if possible. I'll go under the truck if I have to. Just looking to make it easier.
Thank you for the reply, I will buy an inverter to plug into power point. I don't require much power. Reading this entire thread gave me great info, maybe too much as my brain was starting to get twisted.
I hope it's okay to ask my question here. I have an XL, so no AC outlets included. Can I plug a low wattage AC inverter into the cigarette plug to charge my laptop? If so how many watts should the inverter be?
