My daughter bought me a pair of gloves that work with the touchscreen…she got them at Costco. I’m miles away from the Mav so can’t take a pic, but a quick Amazon search with “touchscreen gloves” will show you plenty…
Dealer came to my house to do the recall. 15ish minutes…
The next day I left on a 1500 mile trip. No Gremlins/no issues. No idea if was ever a problem as I haven’t checked the lights every time I drove it…
2024 Eco XL
I’ve kept a grand total going for my 2024 XL AWD. I’m no racer but not a slowski either. About 80% highway at around 70 mph. Usually it’s in ECO mode. I’m pretty happy with that! I don’t do the real math…but I doubt it’s far off…
My A/S/S also works intermittently. My dealer tech said that the engine needs to warm up to a certain temperature, and the battery needs to be at a certain level of charge. He said it’s normal for a high electrical use to cause this to happen. Lights, A/C, blowers, etc., all can cause this...
I had all kinds of CarPlay issues at first. A new cable fixed them. The only issue now is the flaky speed number on the display…which I haven’t heard anyone come up with a fix for.
I had the same issue on mine... I bought some stick-on velcro strips and installed them on the cover and crossbars. That helped a lot, but there's still some bouncing due to the air coming in. So far, adjusting the cover fit doesn't change anything...way too many ways for air to get in I think...
Mine’s the turbo 2.0 and round trip was 31.7 mpg. It worked hard this trip as there were 3 people, lotsa luggage and a big bookcase I made. We also got caught up in the snow, so mileage took a hit because of stop and go traffic, but the trucklet was nice and steady on stock tires.
Pics of my factory ordered soft folding cover. Pretty sure it was installed at the dealer before delivery. I added some double sided tape between the fabric and cross bars to keep the wind buffeting down. I’m pretty happy with it…
If you have the Ford soft folding cover…. I do, and had a lot of buffeting too. I added some strong double sided tape between the cover fabric and the cross bars. Not perfect, but big difference!
After week one of ownership and short trips around town, I took a 1,857 mile trip for week 2. It was lots of highway mixed in with a few days of moving my son's belongings to a new house. Overall, I was very happy with the "trucky". It's an EB XL, and the round trip did 30.0 mpg...VERY NICE...
Digital mirrors...very nice!!! I'm going to use that one if you don't mind. I often use digital speech when someone cuts me off...
One more thing I noticed...I received front carpet mats, but no rear mats...does that sound right?
Only one pic so far...sitting in the garage nice and shiny the...
Ordered my White XL in July on the day the order banks opened....built in December....and just delivered on Tuesday. It seems like I didn't have to wait as long as many others did. I guess the production increases are starting to hit the roads now.
Nothing fancy on mine... Spray in...
