Depending on your type of cover, it might be best to just remove it when itās car wash time. Mine takes about 4 minutes to remove. Itās a soft folding Ford cover. And I get to rinse the bed out too. Itās usually full of mulch bits or wood splintersā¦
Orā¦get a backup battery booster. I have one that I keep under the rear seat and itās plugged into USB to keep it charged. Lots of different brands out there. Mine is a NOCO BOOST G40. My good news is that I never needed it for my Maverick, but I have helped others plenty of times .
ā24 Ecoboost w 27,000 miles. Great mileageā¦mostly highway. Rides great and is nice and comfy for a lightweight truck!
No failures, just a few oddities that I am learning to live with. A few minor mods done, more plannedā¦
I have had a jump box in both our cars for quite awhile. They get lots of useā¦jumping my lawn tractor, my snow blower, my sonās car, and the neighbors F150. Luckily I have never needed it for myself! But itās a cheap piece of insuranceā¦
I have the NOCO and it works great!
2024 Ecoboost, 1 year old this monthā¦
27,500 milesā¦lotsa highways
Only one minor hiccup⦠The Sync system rebooted by itself once when I was driving, but it didnāt affect driving and came back to normal pretty quickly.
There are some weird quirks (IMHO) w the climate control system, but I have...
Having owned pickups with all 3 options, I like the spray-in the best.
My drop-in actually dug through the paint on the rear corners and caused exactly what I wanted it to prevent. I also had to take it out a couple of times a year to clean dirt and watery gunk out from under it.
As much as I...
I did manually select a fan speedā¦7ā¦which is the highest. I guess if itās actually trying to now cool things down it must go into Supermax mode, as stated above.
First, Auto is not onā¦
Since I start with the temp on High, when I turn it down itās because I no longer want as much heat. I would expect the fan to stay the same or even go slower, and thatās why I think itās kinda weird that the speed goes up.
Itās just another strange but not really...
Hi Gang,
Hereās one I havenāt seen yet. Very easy to replicate on my Maverick.
If I crank the heat to max, and the fan to max (Itās really cold where I am at the moment), then once things start warming up I turn the heat down about 4 clicks, the fan speeds up. Anyone else notice this one...
Hi Larry,
I ordered the Trucklet with the Ford soft trifold. Big mistake for me. I do lots of highway miles and it flops around quite a bit. I ātemperedā that a bit with some Velcro strips, but itās still not great. It does leak a bit too, but not bad at all. I expected worse.
For lots...
Iām at about 25,000 miles in 10 monthsā¦so itās no way based on averages. The letter came from Ford, not the dealer. Iāve never had anything done at the dealer except when they came to my house to do a software update.
Soā¦they must be pulling and using my dataā¦to sell something.
Maybe I am getting a bit off topic, but I received an email from Ford trying to sell me an extended warranty because they noticed that my mileage was nearing the cutoff for the base 3yr/30K warranty. So they are for sure using the data to attempt to make more $$. I guess I donāt blame them as...
I just measured my tread depth on the Contiās with 23K on them. They are between 6 and 7 mm. I wish I measured them when new! They look and ride just fine! I rotate at each oil change. Very little towing or heavy use. Lots of highway milesā¦
Hmmmā¦.
My 24 EB came new w an AGM. Delivery last February. No sleep issues at all. Was there perhaps a sleep issue on EBās prior to switching to the AGM??? If soā¦I would pressure the dealership to swap an AGM in if sleep issues occur on pre-24ās!
