Depending on your type of cover, it might be best to just remove it when it’s car wash time. Mine takes about 4 minutes to remove. It’s a soft folding Ford cover. And I get to rinse the bed out too. It’s usually full of mulch bits or wood splinters…

Or…get a backup battery booster. I have one that I keep under the rear seat and it’s plugged into USB to keep it charged. Lots of different brands out there. Mine is a NOCO BOOST G40. My good news is that I never needed it for my Maverick, but I have helped others plenty of times .

I have had a jump box in both our cars for quite awhile. They get lots of use…jumping my lawn tractor, my snow blower, my son’s car, and the neighbors F150. Luckily I have never needed it for myself! But it’s a cheap piece of insurance… I have the NOCO and it works great!

I did manually select a fan speed…7…which is the highest. I guess if it’s actually trying to now cool things down it must go into Supermax mode, as stated above.

I’m at about 25,000 miles in 10 months…so it’s no way based on averages. The letter came from Ford, not the dealer. I’ve never had anything done at the dealer except when they came to my house to do a software update. So…they must be pulling and using my data…to sell something.

I just measured my tread depth on the Conti’s with 23K on them. They are between 6 and 7 mm. I wish I measured them when new! They look and ride just fine! I rotate at each oil change. Very little towing or heavy use. Lots of highway miles…

Hmmm…. My 24 EB came new w an AGM. Delivery last February. No sleep issues at all. Was there perhaps a sleep issue on EB’s prior to switching to the AGM??? If so…I would pressure the dealership to swap an AGM in if sleep issues occur on pre-24’s!
