  1. New 2024 Ranger is definitely an option

I'm pretty sure a few rear drive vehicles are unibody. At least a couple. :sneaky:
  2. Volkswagen Saveiro Robust spotted on road in USA

Seriously. I'd love to have one of those little Daihatsu flatbeds! So cool.
  3. Paint defect. What is it??

They buy cars sight unseen. Which is probably not the smartest business model. They do ask if your vehicle has had paint work though.
  4. New 2024 Ranger is definitely an option

MSRP is fine. Do you have a list now, Tim?
  5. New 2024 Ranger is definitely an option

First off, the current Ranger XLT Supercrew is about $5k more than the Maverick XLT Supercrew apples to apples. Not $13k. There may be a hybrid. New generation truck, so current reviews are not super relevant. It's an option for at least a few people.
  6. New 2024 Ranger is definitely an option

    With 5 speed manual. o_O
  7. Paint defect. What is it??

Yeah, no. If you go to trade it in, the used car manager will run his hands all over the sheet metal looking for orange peel and mismatched paint. Repainted cars are worth less. Carfax has nothing to do with it.
  8. Paint defect. What is it??

I wouldn't. I'd much rather have a tiny bump in the paint by my tailgate then a repainted vehicle. A repainted truck will decrease in value. A tiny bump, not so much.
  9. New 2024 Ranger is definitely an option

I know there is a new forum for the 6G Ranger here >> https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/ Hope it is cool to post here in the maverick forum though. I'm seriously considering getting a Ranger, and I'm curious whether @Granger Ford Ford or Long MacArthur @fordvideoguy plan to offer forum member...
  10. My AWD rear brakes are rusty and grinding bad 49,000 highway miles

So, you're saying that cast iron rusts? Who knew?! Or, are you saying your pads are worn out? Hard to tell what you mean. I will say that if your pads are worn out at 49k miles, you're resting your foot on the pedal or something.
  11. It feels my truck is just falling apart at this point..

What, exactly, is wrong with the "exhaust"?
  12. It feels my truck is just falling apart at this point..

Why wouldn't there be carbon on the valves after 30k miles? Internet wanna be mechanics have some weird ideas. Like the combustion chamber of a street car needs to pristine and the oil needs to be changed every 3000 miles. And then you need to send the oil to a LAB. LOL. It's a street car...
  13. Ford, why does only China get the good stuff?

Does the Chinese Edge come with manual transmission? That's what the American public demands.
  14. Interior door handles awkward to grab

Genius. Wish I hadn't deck screwed a 2x4 into my door now.
  15. Interior door handles awkward to grab

    If ya know, ya know.
  16. Interior door handles awkward to grab

I also hate the "door handles". I created an extender from a piece of scrap 2x4. Easy! Cut to length. Attach with 3 inch stainless screws. Painted them orange. Works great.
