  1. Tailgate Assist Question

This has to be the lightest tailgate in the history of pickup trucks. I don't get it.
  2. Rear window fogging.

Yeah actually I've read that is a common problem I'm just never had it. I have a hybrid if that makes a difference. I've never experienced deep sleep mode or under charged battery I don't even think about it just lucky I guess. I have had no problems with this vehicle after 1 year and 8,000...
  3. Rear window fogging.

Driving it an extra hundred miles to charge the battery. What the F? I've had my Maverick for a year now. I've never had a problem with either battery - or even thought about them.
  4. Rear window fogging.

They did I had the rear manual sliding window ordered on my 2023 - it was only $155 if you also got the Copilot 360 - go figure. But even though I ordered it the first hour of the first day you could order a 2023, they would not build one for me until 2024 - so I didn't get it. It turns out...
  5. Rear window fogging.

They really do. That's why they can't make a vehicle at a reasonable price anymore. They tried with the 2022 Maverick. But since they kept adding things and adding things and adding things - Tremor, Lobo, AWD, Towing package - paying extra for a freaking paint color. So now, what even a base...
  6. Rear window fogging.

    Probably saved you $300.
  7. XL steel rims offset? And are spacers OK?

They are certainly worth $100 - but not $320. Thank you anyway. I think if you advertise them locally you will sell them easy. Thank you for your time and trouble.
  8. Rear window fogging.

    Wow.
  9. Rear window fogging.

Everyone always laments the fact that the Maverick doesn't have this or that. If it had all that stuff I would not have got mine for $24,800. I did not want a $40,000 vehicle. I can wipe snow off my rear window, I don't see the need for heater vents in the rear, or more crazy "duel climate...
  10. 🤝 List of honest dealerships for Ford Maverick buyers

List of honest dealerships - that's funny. There are none. There are some that won't blatantly rip you off but I still wouldn't call them honest. You've got to go in there ready to defend yourself. When you start thinking they're honest, you're screwed. They have a goal and you have a goal and...
  11. I just drove home the very first 2025 Maverick delivered in Utah

Dealer told me I got the best deal ever and was his bestest most favorite customer.
  12. Back up camera - recall

No. I just had my 2024 in for an oil change. They don't have a fix yet for the backup camera. Yeah I got it back or there would have been a big problem. They can't sell the new 2024s yet until they have a fix. I don't get it though. They say sometimes it freezes. People can't see that the...
  13. What does this do?

My current 2002 Jeep Wrangler has roll up windows.
  14. What does this do?

Never cared - until I was waiting for someone at a hospital - after about an hour waiting in my truck I began exploring some of the controls. I also just discovered I can change the radio station and volume on the steering wheel. Nice cause I always have to hit the screen 2 or 3 times before it...
  15. What does this do?

Yeah I had a Taurus that you could only put the rear windows half way down. I guess to prevent kids from jumping out. Hated that. I guess this is better.
  16. What does this do?

So it locks the rear window control FROM the rear. Thank you.
  17. What does this do?

It doesn't seem to stop the window from rolling up or down like it implies. What does this do?
  18. Picked Up my 2025 Today!

Yeah I guess you could compare those two, not much price difference. My 24 XL was $24,800 - I thought you might be comparing it with something like that. That wouldn't work.
  19. Picked Up my 2025 Today!

It seems you're comparing this with a previous year you had. Compare the price. Is it worth it? It doesn't do any good to compare one thing to another without considering the price.
