It is one use for the "my key" system where you can set limits on how fast the key can allow the vehicle to go and all that jazz. The my key system also directly tracks how far it's being driven with that key in use. So if you give them that key you can tell if it's driven under 1 mile to a...
I got a KN for my Xmax because it's really really hard to find parts even simple stuff for it. So I got the KN so I don't have to hunt for filters again. The last time it took me months to find one in stock.
I don't really forsee the Mav having trouble getting parts. It's practically the...
I dont want to entirely remove the autostart/stop. I just think it occasionally is a little dumb. I can tap the off button. Its right there. Sometime it even does it at the right times.
The criteria the auto start stop feature uses to decide when it shuts down is kind of stupid at times. If I forget to do it when I pull into the garage, it shuts down, then turns on when I shift to park. Other times it forgets it has the autostop and I'm at a light for a long time.... then it...
My guess would be accessory slots?
Stuff like fog lights maybe. You'd have to check the amperage rating if they could handle a winch or anything beefy though.
Yea I dunno, it's as big as my dad's truck from 20 years ago, bigger than my grandpa's truck from 50 years ago. Does truck things.
Just because it doesn't have a staircase across the grill to reach the cab doesn't mean it's a fake truck.
Not long after I got mine I had to move so I made quite a few loads I never could have done in my old car. I even got a small shed for my grilling stuff.
Handily, it's the same height about as those blue carts.
Annoyingly though it's about 1" too long to shut the tailgate entirely.
Oh wups I...
There is one of these already in your vehicle right now. It's behind the rear seat with the toolkit. Pull the loops on the top of the seat, tilt the back of the seat forward, bingobango there it is.
When I got mine it was filthy from shipping and the salesman had to tell them to wash it.
"does he want it washed?"
"Yes he wants it washed! are you kidding??"
I didn't find any weird surprises except they put the unused floormats in the and some wire thing too?
The interior reminds me of a poorly set up layer cake starting to tip over, I don't mind the front but it just kind of looks "maverick +1" not like an overhaul.
I don't really care for the cliff-cave phone hole because then there's another below it? It seems a little disjointed like designed...
The region you drive in is a big reason too. You could be an ace driver but your insurance will go "seattle... eeee... jack thet rate up"
Meanwhile somebody in cornfield iowa theyll just go "nothing to hit there but deer anyway."
Tinted isnt enough even in the totality area. You need the eclipse glasses too. Believe it or not this applies to cameras as well.
And make sure they're well sourced glasses too and not old ones. The material ages so old glasses I've heard wont work.
If you've got a sunroof and park in an area with a lot of leaves/trees/stuff that falls on it... you might poke a coathanger into the drain hole.
It's a problem i've had and friends have had with sunroofs in the past and a bit of an annoyance but once you know about it it's an easy fix usually...
even 3000 off for a pre-wrecked one isn't enough. I'd counter offer with something insane to see if they'd go for it but probably for the best to just wait for another at this point. Even if they get it to basically brand new, it'll always have that damage in some way. Sucks for whoever gets it...
If you've got one you can always try the old fashioned way of detecting steel and hold a little magnet up to it.
Odds are if its metal and not steel itll be aluminum. If its not metal it's plastic.
I havent checked the hood or tailgate myself yet but seems reasonable the two parts youd lift...
The fusions was bad. I barely saw any with the maverick til wventually a little bit of outline of glare feom the middle bump showed and I realized I hadnt been seeing a ton of glare.
I will say i did start putting the friction mounted gps into the maverick for a sun-blocker off that hood. In...
