Ugh YEP that's where it was.
Settigns>Information>"intelligent awd"
I was hoping it was in the "my view" section so I could go to it easier. Not that I use it a lot again... but it'd be fewer steps.
Well mystery solved.
In the main list there's
My view
the trip menu
phone
radio
driver assist settings
settings
It was originally under "My view" I feel like but now it's just those 3 options, speedometer, mpg, and calm screen.
I've gone to the "my view" thing a dozen times (like the manual says) and all it has is
-digital speedometer
-mpg
-calm screen
Did they remove ALL the other options? Ie in the last recall fix which was some digital update.
Namely the one I'm looking for is the "Intelligent AWD" screen. The one...
When people ask how big the Mav is I say "about as big as the ranger fro. 20 years ago... or the f150 from 30 years ago.
I remember getting in the "back seat" of an extended cab ranger in the 90s. It was more of a slot for a toolbox than a seat.
I was on the fence between carbonized gray or the tan color. My regret was entirely relieved when I saw an identical build tan maverick next to my order when I went to see it at the lot. It's just too light for my taste. I wish it was a bolder tan but it seemed like basically white.
I wish...
My ratchet straps fit in those nice little pockets beside the rear seats the door bucket works too. Which is a little easier than under the seat. I might try that compartment in the bed. Forgot that was there honestly.
I didn't get the lane nanny because the fusion had it and the warning siren would go off for really stupid reasons. I found out that the version without the lane nanny also had mirrors with the fisheye mirror part which sealed the deal on that. I prefer being able to see an object around the...
The Mav is my first truck, but something I've noticed is light stuff seems to really get sucked out of the bed. I haven't lost a lot, but if I leave ratchet straps in the back, the ropes fly up and flap around.
Then I look over at somebody elses truck and they'll have empty plastic bottles in...
Yea looks like some industrial-use type thing like a staple or something. It might not even be the type used to assemble any of the vehicles parts like liners/carpet but just packaging at the assembly line.
My true car before the maverick was my 2011 taurus. Bulky but powerful and comfortable. The one thing i hated was how big it felt. The front sloped off and the rear was huge and short. So it felt like it extended forever and i never liked parking it.
Some jackwagon rear ended me and killed...
I did a trip 250miles around 70-73mph and got 34.1 average. Normally my commute and in town driving gets me in the 28 area.
I also noticed the acceleration from 65-75 is more than I expected when I had to pass some crappy/unsafe drivers. So that's 34 even with a few moments of wasteful...
I was coming to park and turned the dial a little quickly. It flashed a warning and stopped with a delay. I think the mav has protections thanks to a suggester rather than a pure shifter. I say suggester because it appears if you tell it to do something it thinks about it first. Which...
People will even say they'll want one and then still go with the easier cheaper option.
It also makes literally no sense to manual a hybrid because there's not a drive train that way in the first place. It's supposed to be a perk of electric drive.
Like would you want a manual if it was a...
I just set mine to 68 and boop the button off when i know i'm coming to a long light to let the engine shut off. I don't really like hyper-advanced systems because they like to try too hard sometime. I actually like the mavericks more manual settings. Especially the wipers. The excessively...
What gets me is they put the leftovers/extras in weird locations. Sometime in the back seat storage, sometime on the back seats, or in the bed even. My floormats were slopped in back but then that cable was in the storage area. They decided to not drill my front plate spot so that was also...
For me it's a perfect size. Literally the same size as my old taurus but easier to see out of and more capable. I don't want something so big it needs a staircase across the front but I also don't really need a bed the entire length of the vehicle either since covered storage/seating is also...
