My votes went for Cyber Orange and Oxford White. Both are just not for me. I would also add Shadow Black. Had the chance to buy one off the lot before mine came in, but the black just wasn't for me. If this were my wife, she would say Area 51, which I loved, but she straight up hated! So, I...
Traded in my 2014 Subaru Forester (164,000) for my Maverick. I "loved" my Subaru, as it was the best vehicle I had owned, to that point. However, some of the issues were getting much too annoying. For instance, the oil issue. Plus, the tranny was starting slip. It just wasn't fun to drive...
A couple questions after reading through the comments:
1. Did the resistors work? Or, better yet, has anyone tried the Lasfit ones, yet?
2. Anyone with a Lariat that's gotten them, have you managed to get the switchback functionality to work? No sense in getting switchback bulbs if they won't...
I've had my Maverick for about 3 weeks now and have yet to see another one. I know my dealer has sold at least 5 Mavericks. I was the third person to get one from them, and there were still two on the lot waiting to be picked up. So, I have no idea where they all are. I did get a nice head nod...
It doesn't get any better after you get your Maverick! I still check this site as if I'm waiting for my Maverick... Now I'm looking at what others are doing to their truck, or trying to find previous posts of DIY topics etc...etc... Guess that's why it's called a "club"!
I never got info about what railcar my Mav was on. Just decided to check for website after a week or so to see if it'd show up. Once it did, I'd check it every hour, it seemed...
I'm sure they'd give you an idea on trade. They seem very reasonable there. It was roughly 4 weeks from built to delivered. About two weeks after it was shipped, I started tracking it using the this link www.palsapp.com. The Mav went from the Mexico plant to a plant in Wayne, MI. It was there...
Yes, I did. Didn't get what I was hoping for, but there is a tax break for trading in with them, plus I put some money down too. Ended up with a deal I liked, but I also opted for the extended warranty.
I picked up my Maverick on 12/22. I have since driven it 100 miles. Here's my take from the beginning to the end.
Placed my order and a $500 deposit on Aug. 10th. Got scheduled for a build on Aug. 12th. Honestly, I couldn't believe my luck in getting scheduled so quickly, but I was the first...
For those of you in the Columbus, Central Ohio area, I will highly recommend working with Roush Ford. Everything was above board, no ADM. The price on my DORA was the price I got. Ask for Kristian if you go to Roush. Only had my Maverick a day, but I'm loving it!
When I go to www.palsapp.com, and I put in my VIN, I am getting a reply that says:
Origin: Wayne MI-Plant
Destination: -
Destination Name: null
Freight Bill #: 01111****
VIN: 3FT*****
Status: Pending
Does this mean that my Maverick has made it from Mexico, and is now sitting in Wayne, MI...
I'm learning a lot being on this forum. Had no idea what a switchback bulb was until now. My question, why can you not use the switchback function on the Lariat, but others have on the XL/XLT? Is it because of the LED DRL?
I ordered my Maverick on 8/10. I hope to take delivery within the next couple weeks. So, it's been a 4 month process. Everyone is different, but 4 months or so seems to be the going timeframe.
I will miss the auto-dimming rearview, driver and passenger side mirrors that I have in my Subaru Forester. Auto-dimming rearview is nice, but the auto-dimming side mirrors was awesome!
So, yours was delivered about a week earlier than estimated. I'm hoping this is will be my case. Patience goes out the window once you know your Maverick has been built and shipped!
