300 whp should be super easy. I’d say 350’ish should get it close to where I’d like it. I’d like to get some baseline drag runs on it and see where it falls. 13.5’s in the 1/4 would make for a killer fun truck.
Don’t know yet. Our EVO cans are $459. Like to keep the price no higher than that. It will depend on the fittings needed to make it an easy plug and play.
I've had a few F150 3.5 EB's that had their tune. I want to tune these in house and I'm a Cobb Pro Tuner now, so hoping Cobb releases an AP for them. I just emailed them again actually.
I agree! Tuning will be the hold up, I'm asking Cobb to get on it, they say it's not on their radar. It should be simple for them and I'm going to keep pushing.
Catch can will be done next week as long as the fittings for a simple plug and play are readily available and they should be. We will only offer it one way, vented, the reason is venting it opens up additional horsepower.
I agree, we will have to experiment and will offer options but I don't want the truck to sound like the typical "sport compact race car" either. Some will and we will offer that too. I can hear it's choked down, the exhaust design is far from optimal and the rear lower control arms are SUPER...
I've been super excited to get started on this new platform at our shop. Dealer called yesterday to let me know my Cactus Grey Maverick came in. I ordered the 2.0 turbo, AWD, FX4 package with Max Tow.
I have not seen one of these in person up until I got there today, this was the first one to...
Expect one within two weeks. My truck comes in tomorrow and the catch can is our first project, after it comes off the dyno. Then catback and intercooler.
From my perspective this leaves a lot more room for the aftermarket, which I am in, for us to modify and offer parts for people who need more hard core offroad performance. I can't wait to get mine and get started!
haha, already thinking of the rear and I'm a Cobb Pro Tuner, I spoke to them also. They are always behind but it's a platform they have all the basics for already and I believe they will get to it.
The trailer axles/tires are rated for 3500#'s. The trailer itself is way over built. I looked at some of the "store bought", as you put it, trailers out there and they are all angle iron thin wall junk. Anything heavy is dual axle, too wide, too short, too long, etc. I think you'd also be...
