I don't know what you are reading or think is deceptive but that's the 4th gear from the dyno run and the results are right there.
I'll tell you what, buy the intake, bring the truck, I'll install and dyno it for free. When the results are the same as we have here you give me an exta $100...
We have the oil separator/catch cans all done and ready for shipment!
The pics below are the final product.
The kit includes the baffled catch can, all AN fittings, quick disconnect OEM style fittings for the valve cover/intake and the drain tube.
The can mounts discreetly out of the way and...
I had just stopped the truck and turned the key off as I was taking the picture. If you think about it, that would be a worst case scenario for what I'm trying to show, engine off equals no air flow which increase temps everywhere quickly.
There's another thread on this with the dyno results from last week. It is 100% accurate, same day testing within minutes of each other and each run repeated the same results.
Maverick 2.0 Turbo intakes done!
Testing complete and available for shipment.
Our intake kit gained a whopping 27 whp and 17 ft lbs of torque!
The kit includes a K&N filter with lifetime warranty, powder coated intake tube and mounting hardware.
The complete testing results with before/after...
That's my truck but the picture from Ford, exact truck though. I went with Enkei 17" Matrix wheels and Toyo open country tires. I haven't done a lift yet, the tires fit without it but will once someone releases something worthy of using.
Just did a 465'ish mile trip, some town, highway up to 79 mph cruising and 55-60 back roads, my truck has our oil separator and intake on it, dash indicated 31.1 and doing the actual math I got 30.12. Very happy with the truck.
That's not an option, I don't need more tongue weight. The trailer was built/designed like this so the nose fits under the tent, it won't fit the other way.
Yes, built the entire trailer. Deck is 6' wide, trailer is 20' long. It's 60% actually, I have google too, haha. The trailer is good to go on weight distribution now, that's why it tracks so nice, I'd like a little less squat which we will fix next week.
Well it's all finished up and loaded!
I started this about a month ago, specifically for the Maverick to pull.
The trailer itself empty came in at 1390#, has a single 3500# axle under it, 29" 8 ply tires. The side by side is 1450#, tent and the remainder of the gear around 300#'s. Final...
That's a reasonable assumption, I haven't look into which model trans it is. For us, if it breaks then we will find stronger parts, a lot of the aftermarket world is good with that. It's understandable that many bought this to drive, will want a little more of whatever they can get as long as...
Like any build, there will be things that limit the power BUT also with all things, as long as the demand is there, after market parts will be built to handle whatever you want to do.
There is a full list of TCM tables, so some of what will limit the application can be addressed in there...
Hello!
We got the HP Tuners software in for the Maverick yesterday, had some time to get the files pulled from the truck and will get started tuning shortly. We have a Mustang 500AWD dyno here, things should progress quickly.
I posted a video, the exhaust will help a lot on this platform. It's one of our next projects as soon as we can get the truck on the lift. We've done a catch can and intake for it already.
We won't offer duals, it's a waste of time, money, labor and material, no flow improvements going from...
