perhaps that little jerk u feel is a result of the engine stop/start feature? this is a 'default' on system that i believe can be disabled thru the steering wheel menu buttons.
good luck to you & stay safe out there!
you are 100% correct Sir. it just aint that complicated IMHO. spin it to the right and youre n drive. spin it all the way left & 1 click back to the right and youre in reverse. if you parked head in just 1 click to the right and youre in reverse and ready to back out(be sure to look around 1st)...
i could totally see a Ecoboost manual version, but i have a hard time seeing how you could implement a manual shifter into the present Hybrid powertrain.
just consider the thousands of per second engine demand/performance measurements & adjustments being made just by the engine control module...
get 'em started early is what we say around here too :) like the look also. not sure how slippery they would be with the snow covered boots/shoes that come with wet or snow covered feet however.
the guy that played Chekov in the last few 'Star Trek" movies lost his life when he got out of his vehicle (i forget which make and model)to get his mail and it rolled into him if i'm not mistaken.
property damage, bodily harm and fatalities would be dramatically reduced if all passenger...
i dont know your age demographic but we 'Boomers' were(and are for a while longer) such a large % of the population of America that their effects are still reverberating throughout our society and will continue to or the foreseeable future IMHO.
i beleive that as the 'Boomers' age out of the...
count me as team rotary. i am about 4 months in and almost never look down anymore to shift gears. there IS a learning curve if this is your 1st rotary shifter no doubt, but Ford's rotary design decisions are growing on me & i appreciate the additional storage opportunities it allows.

ok, i get it now. what you envision i think is a similar touch to lock/unlock sensor on the tailgate like there is on the front doors. could be handy for those who are frequently having to access the bed. for what its worth i personally go days at a time without needing to get into the truck bed...
i too have a Lariat and enjoy the simple 'touch to lock/unlock' feature. may i suggest once you touch to unlock u then press 3/4 on the keyless entry keypad and all doors + the tailgate should unlock for you without having to dig out the keyfob if im not mistaken.
sigh, i feel so old sometimes. i've seen 8 tracks ; CB radios ; cassette players ; and now CD players all go the way of the dinosaurs. i eagerly look forward to the next 'new thing' so long as they keep the regular AM/FM radios standard :)
really? i did not know that(not unusual for me unfortunately). may i ask how we can confirm this without a built in onboard HVB battery charge status meter?
i cant comment on CD player compatibility as i havnt tried that yet. if u own a PC maybe you could 'rip' your CD's to a USB stick? but any music stored on your phone or on a USB thumb drive may be played by plugging into the under dash USB port with a cable or wireless dongle. this should work...
