Nothing new here, this was why the US implimented 55mph restrictions in the 70's to optimize fuel economy during the oil crisis.
That being said, 36mpg is nothing to cry about.
the higher the speed the worse the fuel economy.
the epa rating is usually set at 55mph, so no doubt its above that...
This is kinda humourous. I had this issue on my outgoing Escape...just felt like a minor *click* on the highway turns, like there was a couple mm of slack somewhere in the base rails of the drivers seat. I could actually feel it, not just hear it.
Looking at the repair...yup, makes perfect...
At this point, PHEV is I think the golden standard till the EV charging network can keep up with demand and availability everywhere.
I looked hard at the Escape PHEV, but ultimately the Mav was my choice for my needs
Dealer was telling me 1-3 weeks which was like past experiences here, so this was a pleasant surprise to show up so fast.
Hope yours makes it over there soon. I doubt it will be 12 weeks, I put my money on a couple more weeks and yours should be home too
Dealer emailed me today that the rail car is now in North Dakota....not a good sign from last weeks update in Minnesota. So now they are expecting to deliver in early April...Hell I have waited 14 months so far, whats another week or two lol.
Last update of the rail car was March 4th in Minnesota, Mine shipped Feb 18th as well, so I think a lot of us in this thread are gonna be happy in the next couple of weeks :)
The new Edge could find itself over here in the future if it performs well there. I am guessing its a test market much like how the Focus evolved in the EU before making its way here....
interesting the dates, I am sure there's some oddities with the Tracker. But yeah, I have been on this rodeo before, it can arrive to Vancouver, but going from there to here can sometimes take awhile as it has to be "worth the truckers while" to bring it up the highway
I am banking on early April...
