I don't know for sure, but I think it might of had something to do with my order getting picked up. Last fall, the key commodities showed spray in bed liner at 30 or 40 percent, but everybody was saying don't order the SIBL (including my salesman). That led me believe that at some point Ford...
I have a build date on my Maverick for late June, and there is one thing I need to check before committing to picking up the truck.
If have aged to the point that my night vision is not that great. I had to sell my Corvette because it had lousy headlights and I just couldn't see on unlit roads...
I would like to change the color on my order.
I have production scheduled for the week of June 26th. Ford tracking shows that a VIN has been issued but a window sticker has not been released.
If I recall correctly, Tim Bartz said that color was one thing that could be changed at the last...
Since this thread has come back up, I'll add my two cents. I would have ordered an XLT, but I can't stand the keypad on the outside of the driver's door and the orange accents inside. Therefore, I went with the XL. That may be a silly reason, but it is what it is.
There's a similar phenomenon in the Houston area where I see way more Santa Cruz than Mavericks. I too am curious if there really are 90,000+ Mavericks out there.
I don't know if it will work for the Maverick, but I dealt with the same issue on my Santa Cruz. I had to adjust my approach to take off to solve the problem. Pushing down the go pedal in a normal fashion makes the car jerk, but if you give it a very light push and briefly let up (releasing the...
I have half way moved on, and may just be completely done with Ford soon. After the dealership screwed up my '22 order, I have two Mavericks on order for '23. One EB for light duty truck stuff, and on hybrid for a high mpg commuter.
I have already picked up a Santa Cruz, so I will be cancelling...
That search comes from HyudaiUSA. I too could never find anything but the expensive trims listed there. Check the local web pages of the dealers in your area. It's more accurate and you can find all trim levels.
That depends on your definition of small.
I need a truck with a length of no more than 200 inches to fit in my garage. As far as I know, only the Maverick and the Santa Cruz meet that criteria. If you know of another option, please share it.
The Maverick was supposed to be my first truck. However, after waiting 10 months for a '22 that never arrived, I have purchased a Santa Cruz to drive while I wait for my '23 order.
I have owned one other Ford. I bought a 2002 Mustang Mach 1 (the retro version). Above 3500 rpm that thing was a...
