I want to thank some of the MTC forum members for their help with my truck. David cut the vinyl for the front grill and the tailgate, which was a lot of fun for my dad and I to try our hands at applying. We enjoyed moderate success, and the pieces David cut for us were really well done...

You did a nice job of adding those dots neatly. All vehicles from Ford should some with Braille for the convenience of those drivers who are blind. It could be a real market niche for the company.

I find this to be true as well. It is ridiculous to have to lock my truck all the time, even at home, but since I started double-beep locking the truck (and deleted Ford Pass off my phone), the Deep Sleep issues have gone away.

So this afternoon I punched the hitch step into the truck. It is a very low tolerance fit, which means that there is no rattle. It bears the full weight of two different fat old guys, so all in all a terrific addition to the truck. Again, Nico, this is a terrific item. Excellent design...

The PLA filament color is even more extra in broad daylight, so I had a quick rummage in the paint cabinet and found this rubberized undercoating. Two coats of this stuff gave it a bit less of a garish coloration, and the plastic takes the paint nicely. And of course, it resists rust. Bonus!
