Mine has been.. interesting.
Originally scheduled at Dixiana Monday at 2:00...
Then it left Louisville, KY with an updated ETA at Dixiana of Tuesday at 2:00.
I check today and.. its 'constructively placed' just outside the Dixiana railyard as of 3:00 AM this morning.
"Constructively Placed" was...
Believe it or not, there are places that still service players and sell 8-tracks, so even if it doesn't work, it can probably be fixed at a reasonable price. And the occasional new album on 8-track shows up (Dolly Parton's Dolly Christmas in 2020 was released on 8-Track as an example). And then...
Recently I saw a story on TV where two dealerships owned by the same parent were 'selling' vehicles to employees of the opposing dealership who would 'trade in' those vehicles at their own dealerships, then those dealerships would do an 'equal trade' to swap them back. And all of that in one...
NS drops the G in the reply for some reason, but should still track if they scanned it.
I would try both UP and CSX. I had a similar thing where CSX said St. Louis for a day or two, then "Return to rail", which is when NSX picked it up, then NSX said "Scanned at Atherton" and stopped updating...
Mine has been.. entertaining... :) Went from CSX to St. Louis, NS back to Atherton/Kansas City, then to UP somewhere I missed, and now it's back on CSX.
Load - departed for Louisville KY on CSXT today at 8:39AM
Arrived - Louisville, KY at 4:39 PM
And now CSX Trace is giving me its ETA at...
Corporate Greed strikes again. There is a point where people will stop buying. What happens then? If you have no sales, you have no profit. With other costs also rising faster than wages, its not sustainable in the long run. Time will tell, though.
Borrowed from Bronco6G, and this is pretty comprehensive for a Bronco, but a lot of the same items would be good to check:
Bronco Owner Checklist for Delivery (OCD) - Google Docs
I get dealerships are not obligated to stick to MSRP, and Ford's hands are tied when it comes to dealership relationships, too. Then you have this mess: Ford EV Mandates Face Pushback From Dealer Associations (fordauthority.com). And then you have the thing about Markups and increased profits...
Ford's default ETA is generally 4 to 6 weeks to accommodate all sorts of things from weather to reroutes to backed up destination terminal yards, rail line congestion, last-mile yard backlogs, etc.
I posted in another thread how I have consistently experienced my vehicles arriving a week or...
I checked with my dealer sales guy this morning when I went in to order some parts for something else.
VINView showed that was now on Union Pacific and just left Big Four Yard in Indianapolis, IL. Interesting since UP usually doesn't come this far east (Carolinas). There was also something...
My expected date is between 5/20 and 6/2 on the Ford Tracker, but it has been off every time the last few rounds:
My 2022 Mav had an ETA of 1/30/22, but I took delivery on 1/24, almost a full week earlier.
My 2021 Bronco had an ETA of 11/5/21, but I took delivery on 10/24/21. delivery 12 days...
Generally, they stay on the same rail car to their destination. If you get a 'returned to rail' message from the CSX tracker, try another line. Sometimes though, CSX does track to the destination even if a car changes rail, just not always like in my case where CSX says 'returned to rail' and I...
Glad to help.. Now, I need to find out where mine is :)
CSX says "Returned to Rail" as of Friday at 6 AM, with the previous status being in St. Louis.
NS says "Departed on flatcar, Atherton Scanner, MO, May 4, 6:41 AM"
United Road has no record of the VIN, but I also suspect it won't pop there...
Hook Tie Down - Rear, Center | FordUS
Interesting its listed as Rear Center, but the photo shows in the corner toward the front, and that price is insane if its just 1 using that link. It matches the sheet you linked to though (Part 60-550A74 vs SKNZ6JE-550A74). And NZ6Z-60550A74-A lookup goes...
My tidbit of wisdom:
Make sure you don't put much down pressure on the glove box while open when trying to remove the damper. Where the damper is connected behind the dash is bit flimsy and the pin can easily bend or break off. It might be a good idea to add something to help firm it up like...
