I have one arriving today. :)
Talking to my mechanic dude, it makes sense. Some hood struts actually restrict the hood movement so its not as 'free' as it is without them, and in turn it does not get high enough for the 2nd pull to work.
And I like the way you installed it. Will be installing...
Actually. those arent mods as much as the way I ordered it. The Tremor Appearance Package added carbonized gray caps and roof, but I wanted blue with it.
Make sure you check the other rail trackers for the same car number.
Mine changed carriers... but one still says its in Atherton, even though it did make its way here and I took delivery Monday.
And some other mod work...
Lincoln Engine cover - removed the Lincoln emblem and used a spare Scott Drake "Powered by Ford" emblem - had to drill some screw holes to screw it on (the top is adhesive backed). And added the hood struts and Steeda bar.
My problem with the struts: after realigning...
I installed the REV Rollup tonneau on my Tremor yesterday.
As long as you follow the directions, it takes less than an hour to install, even with time to adjust it so it's perfectly centered and aligned so both sides latch easily when closing.
Basically its a piece of weatherstrip, 8 clamp...
Took delivery Monday on the Tremor.
Already getting some compliments on the unusual color pairing (Atlas Blue w/ Tremor Appearance - Carbonized Gray handles/roof).
And my mods are "in progress" as you can see.
I have noticed a few differences already, but most notable is that the Tremor feels...
I have the same issue using Spotify using either an iPhone or Android phone where its a playlist with ~1200 songs, but sometimes it goes wonky and replays the same songs from my previous drive. I just re-select my playlist to play and that fixes it.
I did the LasFit bulbs all around in mine (reverse, stop, third brake, cargo, front turn, side markers). Those have resistors built in so no hyperflash/warning issues.
And well worth the price.
Things done to my 22, and will be done to the 23:
1. Spoilers (Cab and tailgate -Ford Accessories)
2: Toneau Cover (22 FE came with the soft folding, 23 Tremor gets the Rev hard rollup)
3: Auto Dimming Mirror
4. Dashcam w/ rear camera
5. Seat covers/protection
6 .Door Sills
7. Fender flares...
I thought about that and what I did was get some aftermarket key+fobs off amazon (This one since its a match on the key part # for my 22 Mav Key Fob, but mine is the Lariat w/ pushbutton). My dealership will cut the blade only for $45.
And since I already have 2 keys, its easy to program:
1...
I always get pre-approved before a big purchase from at least 3 different sources (Ford Motor Credit, my Credit Union, and a regular bank). I take the best of those 3 with me when I go in to buy and give them the opportunity to beat the deal. I always shoot for the least interest paid for the...
The tracker is an estimate done by Ford.
It generally sets the ETA for shipping at 4 to 6 weeks from when it exits production.
This allows for time to get to the ramp, on the correct train, the train to get to the correct destination ramp, and the last-mile delivery time.
But it also is...
I've been using an app called Sygic for about 10 years now (at the time I bought it, it was the only app that had maps in some of the places I went for work like military posts and such). It also has some add-ons including a Dashcam app, "Real View Navigation" where it overlays your route on the...
"Good things come to those who wait..." :)
I got lucky with my 22 First Edition Hybrid, and I didn't tell anyone I ordered a 23 Tremor until I got the 'in production' email last month and its almost here now, too. Its sitting at the railyard about 90 miles away waiting for a piggyback ride to...
My advice: complain to the state AG or agency that handles things like this.
Changing terms, making things up, etc., can cause all sorts of issues. In the Charlote area, one Ford Dealership is already under serious scrutiny after it came out they changed the terms of a deal after the fact and...
Check Veriprice/Intelliprice Pricing. The so-called "black book" pricing is their 'estimated wholesale value' pricing. It changes weekly based on demand.
Cant' say I know the average, but a lot of things factor in how long it takes:
1. How many cars unloaded and waiting already - Most work on a first in/first out model, so if there are a lot of other vehicles waiting when yours is unloaded, it adds to the time it takes to get yours on a hauler...
Mine moved out of "constructively placed in Cayce, SC" to "departed for Dixiana, SC" at 6:45 PM. Cayce is literally next door to Dixiana, so I suspect it will get unloaded in the next few hours.
Now the question is.. how long will it take for United Road to get it on a hauler to my dealership.
I just called to check on your railcar number you posted previously. TTGX981063.
CSX reports it as Departed for Walbridge, OH this morning at 9:08 AM.
It didn't give an ETA. NS still reports from last month in Phoenix, AZ, and UP simply says departure. (date/time, placed at industry/CD...
