Prepare to be disappointed. Cyber Orange looks like the bottom one. The paint code is "SB" which stands for School Bus. The only difference is it has a beautifully deep tri-coat metallic paint job. And you cannot change your color once you are scheduled for production.
I don't get the...
Ranger also comes in Cyber Orange as an option too. So there is no "Ranger color" orange.
You probably are thinking of Saber Metallic (T6), which Ford discontinued from the Ranger line up in 2020 MY. It kind of has a brown hue to the orange. Only Cyber Orange (SB) ever since.
Also, Ford probably uses AT&T specific LTE bands in their radios. Which may provide limited or no compatibility with your cell provider. There are a lot of variables at play here. Not technically impossible, but everyone's mileage may vary depending on their specifics, if we could unlock our...
My intent with the thread was just to alert MTC members that JD Powers is on the prowl, blasting out Maverick surveys. And discuss things related to providing survey data. But thank you for sharing your experiences.
Front Hood edge, front bumper, front fender (facing forward), top of the wheel opening. They go straight to bare metal. Most are small, about 1/16-1/8". Largest (in front fender) is nearly pea size. I am touch-up painting as I go. Note: I do almost zero gravel/dirt road driving.
And even if J.D. Power is corrupt to the core and Ford pays them, my participating in the survey will give useful feedback to Ford.
Personally, I kind of view Consumer Reports data suspiciously too. We should all be a little skeptical of data we are fed. Our own personal experiences and from...
Nope. In Hybrid, it's essentially on auto. I don't think it can be disengaged, but people wouldn't want to turn off the electric anyway. Especially with these gas prices.
That's how it goes back and forth between electric and gas. Auto start/stop went mainstream in Hybrids, and then they realized it would be good for ICE's too.
I received my J.D. Power Vehicle Quality Survey and $1 bill yesterday. I filled out the questionnaire online this morning. It's the first time I have received one of these from a vehicle purchase in like 10 years.
I have had a pretty successful run in my 5,939 miles to date. So I gave pretty...
I've since changed my FX4 decal. Now totally black. My previous one was too gray. Didn't fit with the look of my truck which is all Cyber Orange or Black.
They're not covers. It is Mid Smoke Honeycomb Wrap from Luxe. The Maverick taillights are a bear to wrap well because of all the...
It's lying about the DRL's flashing. And in the video, he shows still pictures and illustrates there is virtually no difference in person, just a slight difference in warmth between DRL's and light bar. But not as severe as in the motion video recording. See below.
Either he doctored it to...
My FOB range is ridiculously good. I can lock/unlock/remote start my Maverick off my FOB at my desk in my office. Which is 75-80' away inside a metal building, through a couple walls. I do have to stand though and hold my FOB up a little. But still crazy impressive.
All. The. Time.
I cannot stop and get gas without someone talking to me. Or the grocery store. Or Post Office. Had someone follow me back to work on my lunch break. They jumped out of their Honda and ran up to me. Kinda freaked me out. He then blurted out, "Hey, is that the new...
Great feedback! Sounds like a fun trip. I lived in Northern Nevada for 16 years. Spent a lot of time in the areas you traveled through. Many happy camping trips out to Sheldon NWR and Great Basin National Park.
Thanks for posting, and love seeing your Cyber Orange XLT Hybrid photos!
